"arbers friendly" bookies?!?

Sun Jan 03, 2016 5:36 pm

Hello ALL and Happy New Year!

I am back after arbing manually 5 years ago without any problems with several bookies... I had small profit then, but I was forced to quit due to personal reasons (a lot of travelling, kids, home change etc...).

When I came back now (in December 2015) I found many things changed but as I recognize, the main issue is bookies' limits.
Not surprising, I have found that the "welcome arbers" bookie is Pinnacle.

Marathon limited me to EUR 1,00 after 2-3 days. I had pretty old "good reputation" account in bet365, but after 3 weeks of "happy arbing" they restricted my account also.

Using a trial bet-alert software and making a lot of small percentage short-term arbs (0,4% - 1,5%) every day (sometimes twice a day - morning and evening) with at least 80% of my bank tied up, I recorded 10% profit with ease, using only Pinn and bet365. I was glad enough dealing between two bookies only, with not so big stakes (from EUR 50 to 200) . Of course, I had rounding my stakes and I had using decimals only in Pinny.

Inspire of all above, Marathon and b365 put their limits on me... and now... what? I have only Pinnacle on my hand.

Please, advice... is there another bookie (except Pinnacle) which can be called "arbers friendly"... or this is a dream, and I have to wait "the better times to come" and to start arbing again?

the are some asians & exchanges that wont limit you & you can use them as you use pinny. sbo, betfair , matchbook, etc
depending where you are from you can find some bookies to use as you used bet365. of course not as good as bet365 but you can try some reputable bookies too. there is still profit to make.
Good luck

Yes, I tried Matchbook meanwhile... but the commission of 2% messed me up there and I left them after a single bet. Maybe SBO is the option, never mind that they have low limits by default, specially on Basketball events. The next problem comes... During last 3 weeks I have followed SBO also in the alert-service and I noticed that there are only few Pinny-SBO arbs / per day at the range of 0,5-1,5%, comparison to Pinny-bet365, where we have sometimes 15-20 or more short-term arbs /per day.

Reading recently in the forum, I see djomla111 is the ultra-pessimist here, but maybe he is right in cases like mine...  ::) ...if there are not any other suggestions...?  :-\

there are plenty of asians that wont limit you for a long time.
sbo limits on basket are over 1k so im not sure i understand the low limits by default you are saying.
Create an account to an agent from the forum & mention arbusers & you are taking advantage of the some % cash back too. Also limits are usually higher.

If you can place arbs between sbo-pinny even few per day you will be fine & show us the way too. :)
The stakes are higher & limits doesnt exist.
The advantage is that both wont limit you while bet365 did.

Also as i previously said if you dont like the sbo option create other accounts with other bookies & keep going.
Dont make the same mistake as me when i was starting & you feel stacked after loosing 1 bookie.
Also dont listen to pessimist losers breaking balls every now & then

i have the feeling you are not paying attention(or not reading the forum enough). the arbers friendly books will be 99% of the times on the same side of the arb. something like this:

piny/sbo/exchanges/other asians(these are called sharp books)  VS everyone else(soft books).

arbs between sharps are virtually non-existent. especially for a beginner. in your case, u shouldnt even consider this option for now, for your own good.

Hi, thank you again for the replies.

testez, I agree that arbs btw sharps are something v.rare and not recommended specially for newbies...

so, as I understand you properly, may I ask, if I have perfect working Pinny on one side, why shall I need SBO/exchanges/asians/agents for the same side, as GrayFox advise...?

I have EUR 123 limit on all NBA events in SBO with a brand new account. For other basketball leagues the limits are lower.

vcollins you need to use some agents to avoid SBO limits.
I also read that yo are having a 2% matchbook account. There are options for you to get a 1% account and that would benefit your business.

You need to be flexible. So having few sharp accounts its a good option.
some times in play sbo moves the odds for the favorite faster than other asians. some times pinny has better odds than sbo on underdogs etc.
read more the forum as another member mentioned above.

as arbusers said , via agent you have higher limits & also you get some cash back.

Thanks a lot, guys...

As I feel... with simple words you are telling me: "Register to some of the agents, there isn't another way!" :)

Am I feeling right?

For some guys the 123e limit is ok so they dont need an agent.
Some guys live in a country were they can STILL register to Pinny, Sbo etc. so they also dont need an agent.
so it all depends what someone needs.
Some in their country have 6.5% betfair comm but via agent gets 3.8 for example. matchbook is 1%. & many other benefits that its better you read on your own to get the whole picture.

just for the sake of argument, lets assume u find 8 arbs pinny vs softs and 3 arbs with the rest of the sharps vs softs./ day
thats 3 extra arbs every day.
extra profits..

Yes it's like that in soccer but in other sports sbo and other asians are't so sharp. Pinn and exhchanges are but asians no. Asians have lot markets on other sports where limit is 150-200 eur and one bet 150 eur change odds 0.05. Peoples don't place bets on these markets and some of them are very weak. So on these markets there are arbs but limit is so low it's not worth.
