Bookie tells me I'm verified but I've given no documents
Hi, I was told last week by a bookmaker that I'm verified even though I haven't given them any documents to prove this. Is this a tactic on their part to stop me withdrawing down the line when there's a large amount in the account? Even though they've told me I'm verified after asking, I find it hard to accept it's this simple, I have had plenty of difficulty with other major bookmakers regarding the issue but these seem to have no problem with it, it's suspicious to me.

Some bookies check the address/name you entered with government databases and can verify via that. It works like that for William Hill in aus and also in the UK
