Arb Newbie

Fri Jun 03, 2016 11:57 am

Hi,

I am new to arbs, at the moment I've been doing matched betting and made a decent passive income from it. However, I've been reading about arbs, and I've seen some returns of 8% and above - I was thinking if I put £10,000 down and say made £800 off one bet, would the bookie honour the bet or could they void it? would that type of money on a bet cause my account to get closed?

Is this the way to do it, or do you tend to bet small?

Sorry, newbie question

If you are new avoid arbs over 2-3% as you could well have your winning bet voided.  Search for palpable error.

Also I would advise not placing a single bet of more than 5% of your bankroll as its easy to make mistakes when new (We all have made many trust me!!)

Ahh, thanks I'll search now.

But would people be betting large amounts on single bets? Or do you need to keep bets quite low?
