I thought arbing is where you place a number of 'safe' bets for minimum risk and little profit (low risk, low profit). So for example, laying and backing would be considered 'arbing' (am I right)?
So how is this also arbing?

this is arbing but, he also assumes that the price will reduce to match his lay, it may not always happen and he may have to scratch or minimise his loss, because of this it is more trading than outright arbing as you are guessing the market will move and you will make a profit.
also taking value from horses is a quick way to get limited.

As far as getting limited or having your account closed, I thought 'Exchanges' were a bit more lenient than having a normal account with your average online betting account; Ladbrokes, Coral, Betfred etc?
But again, isn't backing and laying effectively arbing?

What we saw in the clip is not arbing, it's trading at bf exchange.
Use google, it helps a lot.
