Skrill Question
« on: October 14, 2018, 02:38:57 PM »

I would appreciate any help with this, thanks in advance:

So I have the luxury problem to have been quite successful with Arbing and I'm trying to transfer some profits from a friend's Skrill to my own Skrill, I got the message that "recipient cannot accept any transfers." I had previously transferred some funds from friends' accounts to my own account but within reasonable limits - so I'm not speaking about any high stakes or so.

Of course I will contact Skrill support for this but I wanted to prepare for their questions first. Anybody know what is wrong here? How do other people solve their problem if they try to withdraw their winnings?

Before anything else, are you sure your account has the appropriate limits to receive these funds?

Also, your post is modified to protect you and the forum.

Not so experienced with this. What are their "regular" limits?

Open old skrill view and not new beta version, go to my account, limits and verification section and check your limits. If it says no limit than you should write to support.

Ok, so now I got this email. What is the purpose of this? They think I'm a commercial user and try to squeeze more out of me? Anybody has good answers on this or what would help here?

Thank you for choosing Skrill as your payment processor. Your account has come up for a routine review and we have a few questions regarding your account that will help us understand your use of our service.

We would like to kindly ask you to provide detailed answer the following questions:

• Please explain in detail the purpose of use of your Skrill account.

• Do you provide any kind of service online, even on a freelance basis? If so, please provide a brief explanation of the service and provide URLs to online presence where the service can be reviewed (this can be website/forum/social media page etc.). Do you use your account in relation to any commercial activity, either online or offline?

• Please advise what your relation is to the people you have exchanged money with and what was the purpose of the transactions? Do you know them personally?

Please add screenshots that support your answers.

Note that for the duration of this review your account will remain locked.

To get back to us with the requested information, please reply to this email. Please make sure that you select “Reply” so your response can be reviewed more quickly.

Seems they suspect that you are having a merchant's action and would like you to have an account like this.
Did you receive/send money to a large number of people?

Less than 10 people for sure and total amount somewhere between 10 and 15k EUR. Am a bit surprised about this.

What is the "right" answer on such a topic? Nobody else had this before?

The right answer is the one that you can support with documents. Whatever you say they will ask you to back it with screenshots etc.
Really, why did you send/receive money in these 10 people?

Time frame was over 6-8 weeks.

Not sure what I should back up here or why they want to see me on Skype.

I guess most of us are using accounts from friends and family and that is what it truly was.

you will probably get your skrill acc closed after answer these questions, the same hapened to me a few time ago.

paysafe is no longer a serious company, they dont like gamblers anymore and if they see you transaction money with other accs on a regular basis you are dead

Ufffff, that's super annoying. I mean what is their business logic to close such an account? They still make some nice 1.75% commissions on every transfer. What is it they have against gamblers?

Would just like to understand details here and how to avoid such a situation.

I can't see anything wrong with sending money to other people. If they provide such a functionality why it is wrong to use it?
Is this defined anywhere that you can't send more than x for more than y people in z period?
Sick logic.

Rules should be clear but they are not.
It it's my money I can send it to whoever I want and skrill should not be interested in it.
