I didn't find much discussion about filtering or fine tuning Value Bets.
Do you just bet them all if they are a certain % or are there some basic points of advice about filtering or fine tuning and not just playing them all?
For example:
Has anyone looked at how one would do with value betting only a certain range of odds?
Do Home teams perform better than Away teams in Value Betting.
Do Dogs perform better than Favorites in Value Betting?
Home Dogs? Home Favs? Away Dogs? Away Favs?
Stay away from Big Favs or Big Dogs?
Do some bet types work better than others? Both Teams to Score? Draws? Over/Under?
Thanks!

Re: Filtering or Fine Tuning Value Bets
From my own filtering and experience i've found out that NCAA valuebets are pretty cancer; but maybe the sample is too much small, it's around 200 bets at odds range between 1.8 and 2.10. i've used rebelbetting software and williamhill sbobet and giocodigitale as books. so the books could also be biased not only the NCAA market. Hope that it is useful to you.

Re: Filtering or Fine Tuning Value Bets
i meant basketball sorry to not have specify it; also i haven't tested doing the opposite of what the software said cause maybe the value was in the opposite direction due to market manipulations or software bugs ecc. In case if everyone wants to go deeper in the discussion i can create an excel files with all my bets on NCAA and share with you to check if there were some patterns; also i've to point out that all of the bets are from this month so maybe could also be the stagionality the problem.

Re: Filtering or Fine Tuning Value Bets
SO has anyone looked at their long list of Value bets made over a year or so and looked to see if there is any trend among those winning value bets?
For instance, just to repeat from my original post:
Maybe Home teams perform better than Away teams in Value Betting.
Maybe Dogs perform better than Favorites in Value Betting?
Home Dogs? Home Favs? Away Dogs? Away Favs?
Maybe stay away from Big Favs or Big Dogs?
Do some bet types work better than others? Both Teams to Score or Not? Draws? Over or Under?
I will also try to find some large sampling or Value bets and see if I can identify any trends. It could help to improve R.O.I.
Thanks!
