Can we, with help from all German arbers make a list of every bookmaker, if they apply the tax or not. If yes how do they apply it ?
Bet365 - 5% tax on stake (example if you stake 100 euro it will take the bet as if you stake 95 euro)
Tipico - Does not tax the customer. Pays the tax itself. So you play just like in every other country.
Any help to continue the list would be appreciated.

Re: Germany 5% betting tax
I would be surprised If you find good arbs with a 5% turnover tax. It's certainly an uphill battle.
Any bookie who doesn't charge you directly will obviously compensate with higher margins.

Our intention is to understand the situation. After the situation is understood everyone makes its own decisions how to take advantage of the market.
Does anyone have info on other bookies in Germany about this matter ?
Bwin
WilliamHill
Unibet
888sport
Ladbrokes
etc

Re: Germany 5% betting tax
Any known name charges the 5% tax since it is the law. The ones who are not are not compliant (exception is tipico, who pays the tax themselves and just doesn't pass it over to customers). A few bookmakers take over the tax for combo bets of 3+ selections. This would be the only viable option to arb from Germany. In my opinion it's not worth it.

Thank you for sharing. Can you elaborate on names of bookmakers which do not tax in 3+ combos ?Kalitko wrote: Any known name charges the 5% tax since it is the law. Re: Germany 5% betting tax
I wanted to send you a PM with a link to a german forum, where you could do your research. It's not directly related with arbing, but there should be plenty information about bookies and taxing. If you are interested, send me a PM, because somehow I can't send you one.

PMs are blocked by arbusers so people can share more with each other. I am sure there are other members interested in your link so you can post it here.

Re: Germany 5% betting tax
Ahh ok, dind't know that with the PMs.. and I was unsure about to post it in public, since it's basically advertising an other forum. And also another language.
wettforum.info
Maybe you already know it, it's a relatively well known forum. You will find there a lot of information about all relevatnt bookies with focus on the german speaking area. I'm sure you can find all relevant information about the german tax for each bookie.
Offtopic: since when is it not possible to send PMs anymore? How can user communicate with each other now in private?
