Hi all,

Firstly i am from the UK and I live arb as well as MB.

I have 1 or two questions that I cannot find the answer to and after searching and searching and reading for several days I still have the below unanswered:

Pinni - can someone please explain why this is so important, from what I see pinni is a sharp/exchange and I have 4 accounts with uk exchanges?

Asians - I cannot work out why I would need these, again from what I see I would use these to lay/cover my bets and again I can do this with UK exchange.

My only thinking is that UK books check the UK exchanges/lines to catch arbers and ignore Pinni/Asians? other than that I am not sure.

I was of the impression that all of the sharps would not create arbs, perhaps not.

They don't create arbs, at least not very often.. You need Pinni/Asians because they offer good odds and have hight limits. Of course, if you have access to that many Exchanges, most likely you will cover there. But Rxchanges don't have all markets, therefore you need a back up for such cases. Also, Betfair for example has a very high commission. If you desuct the commission from Betfair, Pinni will odten offer the better price. Therefore, it's nice to have more options to get always the best prices and macimise profit.

Also, a lot of people here don't have access to exchanges like Betfair and Smarkets because they live in restricted countries (myself included), and in that case, the alternative are Pinni and Asians.

But you are right, i also prefer using exchanges (Betfair with reduced commission over an Agent and Matchbook). But I still have some money in Pinni just in case.

forget it mate, there are alot of soft out there giving enough high limit to even match all you betfair or pinnacle. But just 1 arb and your account will be useless.

manymanymany of my accounts are useless but I'm still here.
