A decent value betting formula?

Hi guys, im trying to build my own betting system but im unable to find a decent value betting formula
I dont wanna use kelly for this
What else works?
And how do you guys do staking? Random or fixed price or based on formulas?

Just go with flat stakes or stakes based on the return. Like 1 dollar for something with odds of 2.0 but 2 dollars for something with odds of 1.5 (so the return in both cases is 1 dollar won).
The think is that by varying the amount you bet, you increase the variability of your results. ...and variability can destroy your bank so the more you minimize it the better. Flat stakes is the best option for that.
I recommend no more than 1% of your funds per bet, and no more than 15% at stake at any given time.
