Plumstead man Andrei Osipau jailed for online gambling fraud

Fri Apr 06, 2012 1:23 pm

http://www.thisislocallondon.co.uk/news/9628710.Plumstead_man_jailed_for_online_gambling_fraud/
At his address they discovered more than 5,900 scans of passports, identity cards, utility bills and bank statements relating to people from countries including the US, Canada, Australia and New Zealand.
The scam was identified on February 26 last year when an online betting company received two UK passports bearing different names but the same image within 12 minutes of each other.

Let´s be honest guys. Who was it?  ;D

It cant be from here. He was arrested in February 2011, when this forum wasnt known to anyone.

Furthermore, this is not a forum that supports criminal actions. We are focusing on arbitrage, and that is how we beat bookmakers.

Guys, do you think he got caught because the normal person registered at the same time, or did he just fuck up himself and sent same-photo-passports?

Maybe those that conducted the investigation were not very competent. They should have hired a real world arber.

6000 IDs * 10 (minimum) bookie accounts per ID...
Thats a big project to investigate!

Imagine asking all the bookies around, ''Hey, have a look at this list of 6000 passports, did anyone register with you?''

As  i remember he get caught because he was making fake ID's.
This idiot has send two passport with different names and adresses for account verification in 20min difference and he send it with the same picture so that is how they catch him.
As i understand he was just taking bonuses from bookmakers so i dont think he earn lot of money with it.

:o and he won only that much?
would have been richer at a 9 to 17.00 job, or could create different bookies accounts and actually focus on what he was doing...
