Bwin is pulling out from Russia’s online gambling market, as its parent company is looking to sell its license in the country. Bwin.ru is a joint venture of GVC and A&NN, an entity owned by Russian tycoon Alexander Mamut.
So far there are just rumors about potential buyers, but one thing is clear, Bwin.ru is not going to continue in Russia.

Re: Bwin pulling out of Russia
Media reports that Bwin.ru has a new ownership. Alexander Mamut’s A&NN Investments sold it to a Cyprus-based company called Nirevia Holdings Ltd. We have seen several episodes in Bwin's path in Russian market. The combined efforts of local businessman Alexander Mamut and GVC holdings failed to build a betting giant in the Russian emerging market.
Bwin.ru is ranked 17th out of 19 Russian-licensed betting sites in traffic for December 19. This is a market dominated by Fonbet.
