Hiya,

I received an email from Ecopayz saying they were closing my account and I was not able to transfer or withdraw. See email screenshot below. I asked for a reason which they provided none, only a generic terms and conditions answer.

Has anyone else had this issue? No idea what's going on. Ecopayz becoming now worse than banks.

I was affiliated through arbusers so I have sent an email to ask for help with this issue.

I m afraid we have news and they are not good. You have an e-mail.

Ecopayz are thieves and people should stay away from them, I also have information that Neteller is going to introduce video verification soon.

So I am now told there is nothing arbusers can do? The reasoning he got was "there was a very solid reason" as to why they are not letting me withdrawal or transfer. This is about a 7k Euro balance. They are saying I have to spend it at a merchant hahaha what a joke.

I can assure you I have never broken and terms and conditions of ecopayz. They won't provide me with a reason when I asked them. If they have proof please provide it. I would advise everyone to be wary to Ecopayz, I used it without issue for sometime but this is just unacceptable.

Back to using my bank account.

It might worth informing the community, this account was allowed to deposit to merchant(s), but was refused to withdraw funds back to ecoPayz.

Thanks for info. Refused by merchant or by ecoPayz ? I think this is important.

We have seen many many times e-wallets closing accounts of clients without providing any reasoning. This causes frustration and clients are getting offended by these tactics. The only reason why they act like this is that they cannot state exact reasons as this would inform potentially fraudulent people on their security mechanisms. Of course, I am not saying that aybaby or anyone else is a potentially fraudulent client. I m just explaining a situation.
There is no question that some of the clients who are having their accounts shut might not enjoy a fair service. But most of the people having their accounts shut, are violating one or more terms and conditions.
Ewallets are not evils. They have every interest in the world to allow clients using them, but at the same time, they have restrictions and rules that must be followed.

I understand what you are saying arbusers. But I literally have broken no terms of service. Also they are not letting me withdrawal to my own personal bank account or transfer to another user. The only option is to deposit to a merchant. We all know sportsbooks only let you withdrawal from the same method you deposited, so if I deposit to another sportsbook my entire balance I then have the drama of roll over and having to withdrawal with another method.

I'm just surprised as someone who offers the affiliate link and is "for the players" there is not more communication you can have with ecopayz. They are refusing to let me withdrawal with no reason given and you are effectively saying that's hard luck and continuing to promote their banner on this website.

We understand your frustration. We highlighted ecoPayz reaction on your account, to be allowed to deposit to merchant(s), but refused to withdraw funds back to ecoPayz. This is something new that we wanted our members to know.

I explained in my previous post why I believe ecoPayz is not willing to share more information on your case. Arbusers is indeed for the players. Obviously this time you didn't receive the support you were looking for from our forum, not because we don't want to help you, but because we can't. Notice, there are 1000s of other cases that did receive our support, some times beyond expectations.
We will continue promoting ecoPayz as we believe the company is good and it covers the needs of the majority of our members.

Im very sorry that this happened to you, however since you have no other option than depositing to a merchant i'd try to find one. Maybe a shop or even a bookmaker and then ask for a bank withdraw since you closed your ecopayz account? No one can deny to pay you straight to your bank account under your own name. Good luck with this situation.

The problem is ecopayz has not given a reason. This causes a lot of fear and many people may not try to use ecopayz at all from this episodes. And its illegal for an ewallet to block your withdrawal. You do not want to bet or buy anything with ecopayz at this moment so its not ok for them to force it on your account.
