Hi,

I've got a question, regarding specifically Austria and Slovakia - is it possible to place a ticket in a bookmaker's shops anonymously, or some kind of registration/identification is required? I was surprised to see a registration requirement in Czech Republic lately...

I've been trying to search the forums, but couldn't find any up-to-date threads.

in Slovakia you can bet without any registration but if you looks like under 18 they request ID, but there is a tax 6% i think. You come place bet for example for 100 eur and you pay + tax 6 eur ..

I don't know about slovakia but I have read contradicting stuff about Austria, Vienna to be more precisely.
I have read you do not need to register and I have read that you need to register with your ID.

If you find out more details please share as I am also interested in shop betting in Austria
