Re: Betfair agents to cease business
It is more than a month since Betfair agents ceased business abruptly. This came with no previous notice during a Champions League full action night. Since then, no balances have been returned to players. Some of the players based all business on Betfair's action and now they are forced to have a big pause resulting in loss of income.
In addition, Betfair's delays brought several agents to an embarrassing position having to explain ''where is the money''. Reliability questions are also there, most (but not all) of the cases being unfair for the agents.
We believe it is time for funds to be released, or Betfair should provide its reasons for these delays.

From what I know these accounts had one thing in common: very high minimum deposit (5k-10k range as far as I've heard), and it sounds like there are a lot of people affected, so we're talking about a potentially enormous amount of money Betfair are pocketing here.
I've seen activist short sellers decimate other companies' share prices by going public over far less.

Do you feel there is anything we can do as players to put maximum pressure on Betfair to do the right thing?arbusers wrote: It is more than a month since Betfair agents ceased business abruptly. Re: Betfair agents to cease business
Well, it is already public as you see.
I m curious to know if anyone wrote an email to Betfair directly and what the answer was (if any). This area is completely gray and each case is different.
