Manchester City banned from Champions League for two seasons by Uefa

Sat Feb 15, 2020 5:20 am

Bad news for Man City.
The team is now banned from European club competition for the next two seasons after being found to have committed "serious breaches" of Uefa's club licensing and financial fair play regulations.
A 30mn fine is also inflicted.
Uefa launched an investigation after German newspaper Der Spiegel published leaked documents alleging City had inflated the value of a sponsorship deal, misleading European football's governing body.
This will bring massive changes in the Premier League as well, as the regulation is more or less the same. City stated they intend to fight the decision.
