Maybe they should, maybe not. But for sure they will pay a lot for this act of ignorance. The Worl must open their eyes and redefine progressive globalization. We live in a very interesting times...

We live historical moments. At 17th of March we have 7.979 deaths and today after 10 days,we are at 27.600.This is crazy.

These numbers are too scary.I believe that the point should not be that China should pay compensation. We,as people, should stay at home and not go outside for almost any reason,if we want not to kill people(especially elderly).Usa has suddenly 105.000 comfirmed cases from nowhere. All we should stay home and wait for medicine.
Believe to yourself is the secret to success.

They will pay compensation one way or another. Even the Democrats in the US are hardening their words.
It is not China the only problem. In the centuries of globalization, anyone refusing to keep basic standards of health should be isolated.
Do you eat bats, dogs, snakes, humans? You should be isolated by the rest of the planet.
Do you refuse to wash your self at least once per month? Isolated.
Some tests should be held in every border, something like tricorders that would count if someone belongs to the civilized world or still savage.
The communists will not like the idea, but OK, they are communists, you shouldn't expect them to like ideas.

When it comes to viruses, China has a criminal record. Here is the body count as I found it from open sources.

1. The Spanish flu started in China. It killed 100.000.000 people worldwide in 1918-19. It is called Spanish because it was firstly covered by Spanish newspapers.
2. The Asian flu of 1957-58 killed 2.000.000 people worldwide. Contrary to Covid19, the Asian flu was killing infants and young people up to the age of 20.
3. The Hong Kong flu of 1968-69 killed 1.000.000 people globally.
4. The SARS of 2003-04 killed 1000 people, most of them in China.
5. The H1N1 Swine flu of 2009 killed more than 20.000 people.
6. The Covid19 virus killed until today 161.000 people. These are only the confirmed deaths.

With the exception of SARS, all other viruses killed mostly NOT Chinese people, making viruses as the best exporting product of China. You might wonder why Chinese viruses are killing more people abroad than in China. The answer is easy. China is dealing with viruses since ancient times. Chinese have the mentality to combat viruses, while the rest of the word lucks it. You might also wonder why countries like Taiwan, South Korea, and Japan are doing much better than the West. The answer is because they know China better than Americans and Europeans.

Also, China is not a Democracy and it is easy to implement contamination policies. Europe and America are predominantly paying the price because it is difficult to implement the same policies.

I would also like to mention a couple of facts that prove the cover-up by China.

1. If it happens to know any mixed family with Chinese and Europeans, you might have noticed that they didn't return to China after the Christmas holidays. Kids were left without schooling and this shows they perfectly knew what was at stake. Obviously, it was well known among them even at the beginning of January of what was happening to the country. I believe the virus is there since October-November 19, or even since summer 19.

2. The figures presented by China should not be trusted. There are no independent observers in mainland China as it is forbidden for journalists to travel and report on what they see. The same applies to Diplomats. The body count in China should be absolutely horrifying.

After 161.000 confirmed deaths until today, the world is still expecting one word from the Communists owners of China. The word is ''Sorry''.

It's amazing to me that people still wonder if China caused this.

More importantly though the poll question is rhetorical, China should/would not pay compensation as they are once more the fittest in the survival of the fittest. Ethics in world politics are wishful thinking.

In the following years we will all realize how influential is holding the world's production of well almost everything. COVID-19 was an appetizer to a scary meal.
