E-wallets deposit insurance
« on: March 19, 2020, 10:47:55 AM »

Hi,

I was wondering if e-wallets have any deposit insurance?
I googled it, but I couldn't find any usable information. (Maybe I wasn't looking well enough.)
Do you have any information?

Thx in advance!

Funds in e-wallets fall in the e-money category and that means there is no insurance and no compensation scheme to cover them.

Thinking about the same. What do you think is the safest option in the betting environment to transfer the money to?
(banks with deposit insurance excluded)

e-money wallets?
sharp books like pinnacle?
big soft books who obviously get a lot of casino action now?

You could park your money at a broker that has some kind of insurance. (Plus500, Etoro, etc.)
Note the deposit insurance compensation might depend on what country you are residing.
