I know you will probably not believe it but it is true. We lobbied hard for that and we received tremendous help from reality.
These last weeks, the smart betting community was severely damaged by Covid19 and the subsequent stop of almost all betting events, combined with PaySafe's decision to increase their fees. It is a fact that severe damage was made, now let's see what we can save for the day after.
This is a first step to reduce costs and we hope that other steps will follow. Again, according to our opinion fees are still high.
So what is the current state of play?
Effective from now (8th April) PaySafe is changing its P2P fees policy for newly registered accounts in Skrill & Neteller.
Yes, fees will be reduced.
Here is their new policy on fees:
1. All newly registered Skrill and Neteller customers who have not made an eligible deposit to their accounts will have a fixed P2P fee of 4.49%. There is no minimum fee, no maximum fee, and it is applicable to all PSP transactions.
2. Skrill and Neteller accounts that will conduct an eligible deposit, the P2P fee goes down to 1.45%.
What is an eligible deposit?
It is all deposits, but not the following:
Skrill: Deposit with P2P transfer, Neteller, Paysafecard, and BitPay
Neteller: Deposit with P2P transfer, Skrill, Paysafecard, Neosurf, Qiwi, and BitPay
Unfortunately, accounts registered before today April 8th, will not enjoy these reduced fees.

Re: PaySafe reducing fees.
They want more multiaccounting now?!
Frankly, I think this is ridiculous.
Anyway, well done!

Re: PaySafe reducing fees.
Is it really a good news?
Lets take a look.
Before these changes:
I want a send 10k. First transfer cost me $100 (10% x 1k). Need to send 9k more and I pay 2.99%. So all fees $100+ $269 = $369
Now:
10k x 4.49% = $449
Lets take a look.

Why not make an eligible deposit and then pay a total of $145?
Even these 145 are too much, but 145<449.
Re: PaySafe reducing fees.
The minimum of 100$ fee for the first P2P is now removed. That makes transactions up to 6-7k cheaper than before. Transactions above this threshold become more expensive as you say.Conradnorge wrote: Is it really a good news?
