Hi everyone,
What exactly are bookies allowed to do regarding palpable errors (palps)? I know they are allowed to void the bets as per their t&cs, but what other steps can they (legally) take? For example, I made a bet at a European soft bookie recently at 5.5 and they've settled the bet at odds of 1.14. Surely this is illegal behaviour, since I never agreed to make a bet at those odds.

Does anyone have any experience with situations like this?

you have not got a leg to stand on , they do what they like . had a college basketball team win at odds at 50-1 they did not payout as they said it was palp , they said the true odds was 66-1 .just gave me my 40euro stake back.
