Low Maximum Stake

Fri Jun 29, 2012 10:48 am

Hello everyone. I have been looking into sports arbing for a bit now, together with matched betting, and have made my first few tentative steps. I am clearly only doing small placements until I am a little more knowledgeable and quicker, but I have run into a problem. I am trialling Rebelbetting, and the majority of their arbs include either Marathon or Panbet. These arbs usually are on pretty obscure football matches, and I am getting ridiculous maximum stakes on both these bookies (part of the same group I believe), these maximums are usually around £10, but I just had one max for 80p!

I am not limited as the maximum for other events such as Euro 2012 are several hundred pounds, and I have only placed one bet so far with Marathon (for this reason).

Is this a common problem? I will be trialling Surebetmonitor soon, to have at least two software programs to compare, hopefully there will be less events with these two included.....

Thanks.

Welcome to the forum.
Indeed Marathon and Panbet belong to the same group. You should keep these bookmakers so you will be able to bet those several hundred pounds in major events such us Euro 2012 EPL etc. Other than these, they are useless. If you want higher limits you must look at other bookmakers.

Marathon is becoming very popular later, to a number of arbers.
