Private bookmaker
« on: November 16, 2020, 02:30:24 PM »

Greetings,
I am currently running final tests to my private book which is entirely designed for a low number of serous arbers, the prices are all in decimal and each client will have his own client handler with whom they can contact directly.
We would love to hear from anyone that might be interested in finding out more or joining prior to us going live in the next month. Due to our size and staffing levels we will only be taking on 100 active clients just now.

Many thanks
Graham

I hope you're ready to expect some interesting questions.

This has historically been attempted historically many times, each time a failure. More often than not the bookmaker turns out to be a scam and the company goes bust - client funds sinking with it.

So do you have a plan in place to manage your liabilities?

yobetit, gobetgo, these were bookmakers specifically targetting arbers and were 2 disasters, yobetit was a long running joke.

but you are a private bookmaker? if it's the same idea as yobetit then you've no chance.

I'd be interested in finding out more, out of curiosity

are you from UK?

Hi,
Thanks for the reply, your quite right, managing liability for us is the only way we will remain a viable option which is why we can only take on a certain amount of clients. I would advise clients to only deposit what they are comfortable with for example £50 I fully understand this won’t be for everyone as a new entity people are naturally sceptical

To answer further questions, yes we are UK based, as for our model being similar to other failed operations, i simply can’t comment, I don’t know what they were doing , how they were operating. I would like to know. What I will say is I don’t believe a bookmaker whom caters for arbers is doomed for failure. Surely it’s good money management and those who deviate are on a slippery slope

Simple maths says you cant be profitable having arbers as your customers.

Either doomed to fail or more likely an attempted scam.

That’s an interesting comment you make about “ simple maths” however we don’t agree, a properly run book does not need to factor in arbing to be successful. I appreciate most bookmakers despise it which is good news for what we are offering

I'd love to check out the site. New projects always intrigue me and I'd like to take a look.

What's your policy regarding account limits?

The only way you can survive in this business is by taking the bets of the arbers and then forward them to an agent that might offer you a cash back, something similar to the cash back that agents give to arbusers. Other than that, there is no possible way to survive in this business.
Let me remind you of mustardbet.

Hi Punterlog, I will gladly give you access to the site once we are happy and there are no glitches. You have asked about limits, we would limit each bet to a max of £500 which we could review after a period of trading.

To address campeones comments, I thank you, I accept that arbers hurt the bookmakers as an industry as we all know every winning bet has come from somewhere, but that does not mean a small community of private arbers cannot profit through a private bookmaker such as our offering.
To draw a line under the scepticism, you nominate a player, I’ll credit their account with £250 and providing they report their honest findings on this forum to you all would that be fair?

Thanks for the question, at this moment in time the team we have specialise in this market place, as we progress we would love to introduce other markets but for now we are quite a simple operation

simple operation? you sound clueless, like you have no idea what you're offering or what sports?

you were asked a simple question about what sports you will allow bets on and replied with a cryptic non-answer.

you sound like a timewaster as far as arbers are concerned.

In reply to the question, which was did we offer other sports or only football, I answered that we only offered the one market, I do accept that this was not  as clear as I could have made it, so thank you for pointing that out, like I said if you doubt my offering then take the opportunity of the trial. So should I only communicate with you now as you claim to represent all arbers?

I claim to represent all arbers, really? and you claim to be a private bookmaker who is looking for clients who are arbers.

both very far fetched claims I think

from your few messages you sound (to me) that you are an amateur, maybe this is your way of trying to learn from
the experienced guys on here?
