I’m betting pre-match only at the moment, and only at Asian books (but I’m planning to incorporate exchanges later on).

Prior to this I lead a research team at a large HFT company.
A bit of both... Market making but with an opinion so we're not flat at the OFF.

How's your asian betting going so far? Any decent sample size? Are you aware of how mollybet works in terms of them using your information?
We're just starting out. We have a very high sharpe (1000s of bets per month, but very small bet sizes), almost no losing weeks.
Working on scaling up now. Touch wood.

About Molly - I'm not sure. I know that Molly are Gambit, and that they can use that information as a signal. But is there something more concrete?
(I know mostly about financial instruments. The gambling world is new to me)
Very cool -- do u discord im bet2win#2309 which financial markets were you most involved with?

Hello

I am from the HFT industry too looking to applying similar strategies in Gambling. Have you tried Mollybet yet? How is their API?

Yes, I have and they’re good. If you are very latency sensitive, then they are probably not the best option, and you would fare better with a direct Betfair account.

Thanks for the reply. I am currently using a Bf direct account however I am concerned about higher commission and account restrictions?

Does the Mollybet platform allow you to Lay runners? Latency is not as much as an issues as ability to back and lay runners

I’m not sure - I haven’t checked since it’s not relevant to my style of trading.
What I’m pretty sure of is that the way that the commissions work will make market making through Molly impossible: from what I understand, they take a 3% commission on every trade, whereas BF only takes X% from the line - so if you trade it multiple times they cancel each other out.

@Kdmaneck
There is no horse racing in MollyBet yet. But if you select other sport which Molly offers, then select any market, then you may choose to click two arrows radiobutton and you'll open the exact opposite bet market. But in many markets bookies margin is huge, except biggest liquidity events.

Hallo.
I think brokerstorm has an exchange with lay option for horse racing. Maybe ask them
