The Grid login Ladbrokes

Thu Jan 05, 2023 7:56 pm

I am sure UK members know what The Grid card is. I am wondering to what extend I could use that card as a side profit to win their free bets, cashbacks and all other benefits. I am asking this because if I calculate correctly then we are talking about a very decent amount of money each month/year. Just wondering if I could use this card with value betting and arbing to maximise profits. Do you think they will block the card if my action is really sharp?
The Grid Card pretty much works like a loyalty card, allowing the owner to accumulate points and rewards each time he places a bet online, or in-shop. Basically you earn points each time you bet in a Ladbrokes shop, or when you play slots or roulette. You get 1 point for every £4 you bet
Also they offer a weekly £5 free bet when betting in-store and this is for every week of the year. That makes a total of £260 free bets per year. If you use them correctly, then we are talking about a profit of £240 per Grid card, per year. In addition, I see people in FB and telegram rooms saying that if you bet more than 2000 per week, Ladbrokes will phone you each week and offer a much bigger free bet. Could someone from this community confirm the above?
On the negative side, you must have opted-in to receive their marketing emails to be eligible for the offer. Anyone used the Grid card massively? Is this system working?
Many thanks, this community is lovely.

This is a clever way from Ladbrokes to collect even more data and profile their offline clients. They need an active email address to offer you the card and this address is confirmed again and again. Yes they give away free bets every week and if you bet more than the average they will give you even more. But have no doubt you are being profiled and when they understand you are not the average Joe, they will stop offering these freebies to you.
I find it silly to bet like this for pizzas and beer in Papa John's. Unless you are thinking about something massive I wouldn't use the Grid for smart betting.

If you are betting in shops then i would suspect that use of this card means you lose your 'anonymity' by enabling the bookmaker to collate your bets and allow them to assess whether they want your business (ie are you generally winning or losing).

Without using the card then they cannot tie your bets to a single individual.

Thank you both for the excellent answers. I could never figure out they are wiling to lose some money from bonuses and promos just to profile you better. On the other hand, maybe it is more expensive to pay a 3rd party to check me on big data and search for my FB profile. I am always surprised by their inventiveness.

Your assumption is correct. Big data and the fusion of information are both very expensive and only a small number of bookmakers are able to pay for the complete range of services. By offering you a card in the shops, they avoid these costs.

It might worth it to be enlightened about big data companies and KYC. I read the other article for blockchain and gambling today, and I begin to worry.

There are many articles in the forum in regards to Bid Data and how it is used from bookmakers. Use the search button and if there is anything left unanswered go on and make a question.
Thank you.

Do you think you could bring in the forum a Big Data specialist who will answer questions.

I tried a lot to bring in Big Data specialists in the forum. I contacted people working in firms with contracts with bookmakers. In all cases there is an NDA agreement in place and they refuse to speak publicly, even privately to us.
At the same time, I see no reason contacting a Big Data specialist who is not in the gambling sector.
In any case, I will continue chasing them, hopefully I will get someone who is no longer bound from an
NDA.

There are no short answers to sustainability in this business. Just go with the Trial and Error Method.

Do they still offer The Grid in the UK?
As far as I know it is only the UK where they give it.
Thank you.

@Gambleridis

Judging from your questions in other threads of the forum, I understand there is no need for this card.
Good luck.
