Ladbrokes login my account

Mon Jan 02, 2023 6:12 am

I would like to share a recent story with Ladbrokes, wondering what people would do in my shoes.
I had a very old Ladbrokes account used for casino purposes and some sporadic betting. When I started using exchanges I stopped using that account for some years. I always keep in a separate page (not online) my usernames, passwords and security questions for all the accounts that I have. So the time came once again to use the Ladbrokes account after seeing a very good value bet in the alert service that I use. I login to my account only to see that was not possible. My credentials were rejected. So I started the process to receive a new password. Ladbrokes asked me for my documents once again, even though my account was verified and active for quite some years. Sending documents is a painful situation that takes time. But I can understand companies wishing to recheck clients. Maybe it is a prerequisite from the regulator to do an annual KYC to clients which is happening with banks too. Anyway, what I wanted to say is that exchanging emails with them is like speaking to morons. I send all the documents they requested and I was trying to login to my Ladbrokes account every day, and then boom, an email from them telling me more or less that my documents are not real and I need to resend them. Surprisingly, these are the documents I sent to almost all bookmakers and they all accepted them, business as usual.
What I am now thinking is that it is a common tactic in bookmakers to delay players request for no reason. I find it absurd to need a week's exchange of emails just to receive a new password. And I m not even done yet.

We mention in a a previous annual review delaying and discouraging is the new tactic that many bookmakers follow. They know they can't beat you in any case and they simply choose to play dump. In some cases they go to extremes to ask for unimaginable documents and photos, photos that someone would need 4 hands to take them.
In other cases they simply confiscate low figure funds, hoping the client will not pursue them. Good luck with your case.

There is another theory puzzling my mind. What if Ladbrokes (or any other bookmaker) are simply delaying withdrawals in order to have a better balance sheet to show to their shareholders, regulators etc?
Because if they simply delay 1000 players globally, that would make a difference of some millions, maybe 10-11 digits in total. These are corporate times and you can never exclude a ridiculous motivation like this.

I believe there is a bunch of UK bookmakers doing the same trick.
WilliamHill, Ladbrokes, and Betway.
First they try to destroy your nerves by requesting unreal documents. Meanwhile you have to deal with customer service that pretends being morons.
Then they delay payments.
Then they serve the story of 3rd parties etc.
In the end, it is only when you threaten them with legal action that makes them pay.

It is observed and we highlighted it in the past that some bookmakers operate maliciously. They are willing to go beyond what is considered good corporate ethics, to confiscate funds from clients when these funds are not enough to make the player ask legal help due to costs.
Players outside the EU, with no ADRs and mechanisms to protect them, are helpless in situations like these.

I am in the exact same situation and would like to ask x-casino how long did it take to finish the job and get your money back.
