Brokerstorm/Whitehorse/Winfair24 - STAY FAR AWAY (scam)

Sun May 16, 2021 5:13 pm

So during a period of about one and a half months i was able to make a 1000 EUR deposit into over 20000 EUR by using the back-lay strategy. I then got my account suspended and closed. Before we got to that point I was able to do some withdrawals, and got a total of 11500 EUR withdrawn from the platform. What happened to the rest you may ask?

1: Suspension! My account was suddenly suspended without any warning, and they would totally refuse to let me cash out of the bets i had for that day. I contacted them by customer service but they basically told me they do not care. Total loss: 6000 EUR.

2: Account closure! 6200 EUR seized. "You have breached our T&C." How?? I do not know. Funny thing is they dont eiter. I was able to make and withdraw 11500 EUR with the same strategy, but the rest was according to them made from a breach of their T&C. How does that even work??

As a matter of fact the Whitehorse "exhange" is not an exchange at all. I should have understood this when a 2000 EUR bet got matched instantaneous in the morning hours, but i thought perhaps a lot of users were using this platform? But in fact brokerstorm is not a broker at all but a sportsbook, and they are betting against you. This is the case with both Whitehorse and their new Winfair24 platform. They are claiming they are in the betfair markets but how would that be possible with a 3-4% commission? Too good to be true. Winners at betfair pay at least 20% commission.

My last withdrawal from brokersotrm without problems was 1st of may, and then the 6th the account was suspended. The rest of the story is as told. I think it's funny how the first 40 days of that very same strategy was "ok", but then when they had had enough, five days was all it took from my activity being "ok" to absolutely not ok, to an extent were they saw it neccasary to seize all the money i had made in that five-day period, aswell as un-withdrawed funds made in the period where my activity was "ok".

If you are expecting to be profitable you should absolutely NOT use Brokerstorm. They will act like your friend at first, and if you lose they will be your best friend. But if you win you are their worst enemy. They absolutely do not care about the rules.

The case has gone to their licensor and i trust it will be solved by them as i have stored all evidence of my activity on the platform and I never exploited their platform.

What do you mean back and lay strategy? Are you referring to trading?
There is Brokerstorm representative in the forum. I hope he replies here.

What market were these? And what was the liquidity? Do you think they provided any leverage to you?
Thank you.

Seems to me they identified sharp action and someone in the chain who was taking position against you was really pissed off and decided to cut his losses by confiscating.
Of course this is a very general opinion based on what you say only.
I would like to hear Brokerstorm too as we may have a legitimate case here.

My thoughts exactly.
I have at times been very profitable and this is an example of one of my trades:
This is an example where i backed Abate at 14,5 and sold at 7,4

https://ibb.co/zSwYPjk

I have had several trades like this one, with the best one yielding over 2000 Eur profit.
But bear in mind trades has not always gone my way, and at times i have went "all in" against the selection to try and cut my losses, at a great risk.

Thank you. Will be interesting to see if they  answer.

I have had a very polite tone with them on mail as i prefer making partners instead of enemies. Even so they refuse to answer.

I have also made positive contact with their licensor now and received a form to fill. Will get it done as soon as possible

I am filing the report to gaming curacao and I would like to know your opionions on the dispute ammount.

Of course the 6207 EUR that was seized is going in the report, as they are seized without grounds.
When my profile was suspended I was given no chance to cash out or cancel three open bets at 2000 EUR each, at a total of 6000EUR. Should i include the 6000 EUR in the dispute ammount? Total 1207EUR dispute ammount?

I am afraid that you can't prove your intentions to lay these bets.
I had similar case with Matchbook. They often had problems with the site, "unplanned maintenance" out of nowhere leaving me with several open bets. Of course I couldn't prove that I was going to lay these open bets.
