Today I opened a long spot position on Silver (XAGUSD) at $27.5 with a target of $50 until the end of September.
No analysis will be given for the reason you know very well.
Good luck.

Re: Long on Silver (XAGUSD)
ok, bought.
If you reach this target, I will donate 100 dollars to the proposal that you want.
We are bettors, we need a little bit of emotion.

Re: Long on Silver (XAGUSD)
Is XAGUSD an index fund? I can't find it on any of the trading platforms. Would SLV be similar?

Re: Long on Silver (XAGUSD)
XAGUSD is the spot price for Silver. I have no idea what SLV stands for, but this might be an ETF.

You can always buy synthetic assets without the need of exchange on synthetix.io
In silver's case , symbol would be sXAG , you can track it on coingecko

You can buy in BullionVault, and have your silver physically, for a good price. They will charge you every month a little bit.cortomaltese wrote: You can always buy synthetic assets without the need of exchange on synthetix.io

Re: Long on Silver (XAGUSD)
For security reasons I can’t say in public what platforms I use.
But most of them will force you to exchange your home currency to USD first, before offering the option to trade commodities and precious metals.
To avoid misconceptions, the prices that I mention and calculate on, are based on USD.

I want to say thank you so much for your posts. I am new to the forum -almost 3 months now, and I read all your trading posts. I am from Greece and I feel so unlucky now that I haven't found that forum earlier. Anyway I just wanted to say that I enjoy so much your posts. Keep the good job

Is there any downside to buying silver as an ETF instead of buying it physically?arbusers wrote: For security reasons I can’t say in public what platforms I use.

Unless the world changes as we know it, there is no solid reason buying physical silver.

I beieve that already world has changed as we know it, and what we live these days is only a warm up. This year, Cyber Polygon 2021 will simulate a fictional cyber attack with participants from a lot of countries.arbusers wrote:

If you need bullets and foods as you say, then money will have no value. By default you will lose all wealth, no matter if it is silver, BTC, cash, whatever. Then if you believe you will lose everything, why dont you invest in Silver, BTC, Stocks so you have the option to be richer if your plan is wrong?

Re: Long on Silver (XAGUSD)
The bullion bank dominated London Bullion Market Association (LBMA) has just announced that it has been overstating LBMA silver vault holdings by a massive 3,300 tonnes of silver. This overstatement relates to the total quantity of physical silver bars that the LBMA claimed were being held in LBMA vaults in London as of end of March 2021.
