No problem with it in itself, except that if you do it 2-3 times, your limits at the SB will be gone.

Because Betfair SB is soft bookie and all soft bookies don't like arbers and since they also own Betfair exchange it will be super easy for them to figure out that you are arber.MikkoH37 wrote:why is that?vinciguerra wrote: No problem with it in itself, except that if you do it 2-3 times, your limits at the SB will be gone.

You are right, what sportsbook you suggest to work with Betfair EX ?L wrote:Because Betfair SB is soft bookie and all soft bookies don't like arbers and since they also own Betfair exchange it will be super easy for them to figure out that you are arber.MikkoH37 wrote:why is that?vinciguerra wrote: No problem with it in itself, except that if you do it 2-3 times, your limits at the SB will be gone.

I don't agree with him at this point, because Betfair SB is know as a sharp bookie.MikkoH37 wrote: ah, I see.

Re: Abing with Betfair exchange and Betfair SB
In short, bookmakers can be divided into two categories "sharp" and "soft". Sharp bookies are the ones who are very efficient at determining true probability of event outcome. On the other hand soft bookies are not that efficient at determining true probability of event outcome and will limit you very fast if you consistently take value from them. There is plenty of great material in this forum which describe sharp and soft bookies in detail. I encourage you to read it as it will give you a lot of useful knowledge.MikkoH37 wrote: ah, I see.

Re: Abing with Betfair exchange and Betfair SB
I would be careful treating Betfair Sportsbook as sharp bookie, I don't know any serious value bettor who uses it for sharp reference. Think about it, how can Betfair SB be sharp if it has so many arbs with Betfair EX. One of them has to be soft and trust me it is not Betfair EX.simone1337 wrote:I don't agree with him at this point, because Betfair SB is know as a sharp bookie.MikkoH37 wrote: ah, I see.
