Neteller restricted account, not paying to bank account
« on: July 06, 2021, 01:10:12 AM »

My old Neteller, 15 years old, have fine sum of money on it, but it's restricted (basically waiting to be closed). Many times verifed, sent new docs recently, they are ignoring me and not paying to bank account even. Never happened to me or anyone close that Skrill or Neteller took the money. Is it possible that they will not pay? I will need to sue them?

Yes there are numorous reports of neteller/skrill closing accounts and stealing money from customers. They are not trustable anymore.

Neteller (and skrill, both Paysafe group) is big ****, what happened to you happened to many other people already , me included. They won’t give you any reason but just close your account. In some case you can get your money back, in others they’ll make you more troubles. GL

I am from EU, very big turnover on account in all those years, multiple times verified. There are all kind of transactions and many to/from other Neteller members.
I know they are making problems, but I was asking is there a case they are simply not paying at all to EU members. If so, what is the best way to take them to court, is there any
lawyer who deals with them in favor of international customer.

You should email them asking for your balance into your bank account and threatening with an FCA complaint.
The maximum that they will do is to deduct 150 Euros from your balance as a fine (theft) and send the rest to your bank account

There are steps you need to follow before going to courts. Read the forum and the articles about complaints and legal actions first. I have placed the links so many times that Google already punishes our forum.
The FCA makes no sense to an EU based customer because PaySafe is based in Ireland. But of course you could notify the FCA if you are altruistic enough to protect the UK consumer.
Also I am asking you to change the title of your article to reflect the case. The title “Neteller” makes people believe this is another boring review, and thus opting not to click/read/help you.

I am not 100% sure but i think this may be the right place for your case.
https://www.fspo.ie/make-a-complaint/

On Neteller page it says:

Paysafe Payment Solutions Limited, trading as NETELLER and Rapid Transfer is regulated by the Central Bank of Ireland. NETELLER is a registered trademark of Skrill Limited.  This is their headquarters. https://www.irishtimes.com/business/commercial-property/grand-canal-house-sells-for-500-000-above-guide-price-1.1851650

In newsletter from Neteller dated May 11th it says:

NETELLER® and Net+® are registered trademarks of Paysafe Holdings UK Limited.

Paysafe Financial Services Limited is registered in England and Wales with company number 04478861 and its registered office at 25 Canada Square, London E14 5LQ. Authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority under the Electronic Money Regulations 2011 (FRN: 900015) for the issuance of electronic money. Trading as "NETELLER".

So now on Neteller page it says they are regulated by Central Bank of Ireland, their full name is Paysafe Payment Solutions Limited, and 2 months ago Neteller was trademark of Paysafe Financial Services Limited who is based in UK.

Ok, I get it.
When money is received from Skrill it says:
Paysafe Payment Solutions Limited, Grand Canal House

Paysafe Payment Solutions Limited
Registered office: Grand Canal House, Grand Canal Street Upper, Dublin 4, DO4 Y7R5
Registered in Dublin, Ireland with registration number 626665

Paysafe Payment Solutions Limited, trading as Paysafe, NETELLER, Skrill, Rapid Transfer and Skrill Money Transfer is regulated by the Central Bank of Ireland.
Company number: 626665
Irish central bank reference number:  C184986  - registered as  E-Money Institutions PSD2 - Institutions authorised pursuant to Regulation 9 of the European Communities (Electronic Money) Regulations 2011 (as amended).

Basically they moved from UK to Ireland to be able to service EU members the same way like before, but idiots are still sending newsletters as they are UK based company.
