I was an old member of this forum, maybe some will remember me
I didn't even think this forum existed anymore to be honest
I've done some blunders in my life and been in jail for a while
I used to make a living from arbing
My question here is if you can still make a living with this ?
And while I was "absent" what has changed in the industry ?

Yes, it's still possible but I suppose it depends by location and it's hard to maintain past years level.

Forget about arbing, the people still making a living from this are either valuebetting or betting straight values/fixes/ whatever.

Its 10x harder now. I still manage to make a living, but earning a 3rd of what I was between 2010 and 2018.

And in my limited sports, I am increasingly relying on my experience, to judge where the market direction will be going.

After 20 years, my judgement is good, and still have a few little tricks up my sleeve too, but if I was starting tomorrow, I wouldnt stand a chance arbing.

This is accurate. It is getting harder and harder with arbing but it is not dead yet. It depends on where you live. If you live in low income countries it is still better than average job income.

It is possible, but really hard these days. You can make some profit but it is way less than it was before, less and less bookies tolerate arbing, anyway it`s still possible, you just have to get creative and look for all options available

The answer is Yes, but not with arbing.

It is possible, but the key is the country you are in, the less known the arbing the better

where can you find fixes?

I think its important to address 2 types of of arbs, Prematch Arbs and Live Arbs.

Prematch Arbs have very low % profit, so it's not enough to make a living, it's a good side income if you mix it with live arbs, tips, value bets, and other sources of income etc.

However, doing Live Arbs is a different story, the % profit is much higher because the price fluctuates when games are live, and depending on your location can make you really good money.

In conclusion, if you mix prematch + live arbs together, they should make a decent amount of money if you do those 2, I can't say if you can really make a living because it really depends.

Pre Match arbing < Live arbing < Pre match valuebetting < Live valuebetting

2021 and still thinking about oldschool arbing doesnt make any sense in todays conditions (bookies limitations / ewallets restrictions and lack of accounts)
