Hi, I have been messing around with arbs for a couple weeks now and I was wondering, how often do pro arbers find their arbs manually(without alert soft)?
And also I would like to know what kind of % do you just consider a pulp and don't bother betting?
Thanks.

Re: Manually finding arbs and pulp %
It's not only the percentage that makes it a pulp but the way it got to an arb. If the odds on the soft side were in line with the market at some point and then they drifted heavily you might have a huge arb, perfectly valid. If it's an opening line that makes the arb you should be more careful and there are many factors to consider: the bookmaker, the type of market, the limits etc. Generally, the more exotic the market is, the less chances to be a pulp but when you become familiar with a bookmaker and learn how it operates, what kind of markets it has, when it opens the lines, and you will know what to do.

A pulp is a soft, wet, shapeless mass of material.
A palp is a palpable error.
