Shame because Betfair Geekstoy is excellent.
Re: Matchbook
As its free its about 2 years behind Betfairs one, and missing a lot of features. The main ones being when you update a bet it shows at the old odds, you cant refresh markets, you have to close down the whole application to refresh the markets.alexunder wrote: Anyone here tested geeks toy for Matchbook? How it is? Same as the betfair one?

Re: Matchbook
I think Im starting a fundraiser "help matchbook get over 50% uptime"
They are ridiculous with those "unplanned outages" and "planned system upgrade" that had to be completed 8 hours ago.
If someone knows a matchbook guy, tell him to invest in website stability. I really want them to get better so we have a bigger choice of exchanges..

Today Matchbook sent this message:

You will not be able to deposit any funds and you will not be able to make any wagers using your account.
You shall receive a full refund of any cash balance on your Account within the coming 3-5 days.
This has been returned to your original source of deposit. Neteller
We apologise for any inconvenience however this decision is final and cannot be revoked.

Matchbook"
Anyone got a similar email?
What could be a reason for this?
They didn't state any information why did they close the account.

Most likely because you win money off their market makers. They did the same to me a few years ago. They closed my account for no valid reason and refused to reply to any email I sent asking why.

MB seems like a joke, not an exchange.
Re: Matchbook
The winnings were small (100 - 200 EUR). I didn't use the account for arbing, just for trading. Only used around 50 EUR / trade.DPG wrote: Most likely because you win money off their market makers. Do anything that outsmarts their in house traders and market makers and they dont like it.
Plus reading the tennis voided bets thread on SBR recently its obvious that Matchbook is to be avoided really, not that Betfair is any better lol
