Well they have changed to 2% net win, but over the last 12 months my volume on MB has gone down by 95%.  Markets on all but the top events are barren, and when you try to put up a reasonable offer for a few hundred a bot immediately comes on top for £30, making offering odds a waste of time.

Also the odds that their traders or market makers offer are worse than pinnacle, and you have commission on top making them worthless.

Plus reading about the big voided inplay tennis bets thread on SBR kinda puts me off using them anyway so maybe its a good thing they are losing my business.

Email from Matchbook:

Hi there,

Today the United Kingdom Gambling Commission has taken the decision to temporarily suspend the operating licence of Triplebet Limited (t/a Matchbook).  As a result, from 23:59 on 17 February 2020 we will be briefly closed for all betting and casino activity in the United Kingdom.

During this time we will continue to settle all open positions and you will have access to your account to withdraw your funds.  Should you have any questions regarding your account during this period, please contact  our customer service team via email: support@matchbook.com or by telephone: +44 (0)20 36426867).

Matchbook has been in regular contact with the United Kingdom Gambling Commission and has agreed a path forward where it will deliver on a number of conditions.  We will be back soon and we are committed to providing a betting exchange which adheres to very high standards.

Kind regards

Such a shame, I enjoyed using MB for matched betting purposes (mainly when mug betting)
I read they are still holding onto about £1m of customer monies. Withdraw immediately while you still can guys.
Apparently Betdaq are offering 0% at the moment, may be time to switch over.

Don't think such panic posts are necessary. In fact the signals from Matchbook are encouraging. They are paying without any problems or delays at the moment and it seems their intentions are to resolve the problem. Of course would be reasonable not to keep tens of thousands there.
