Melbet is Definitely a SCAM!! - Yet Another Case
I encountered the same issue with MELBET as several others here (I really wish I had seen these posts before I opened an account). So, I’m sharing my experience in the hope that it will help prevent others from falling into the same trap!
After opening my account at MELBET, I deposited a total of 1500 USDT, placing bets exclusively on sports with low odds (mostly under 1.3) and often before the matches even started. My betting patterns were completely normal and legitimate, with both wins and losses. Between September 13 and October 2, my total betting turnover amounted to 57,220 USDT (a 38.15x turnover), leaving a balance of 4321 USDT in my account.
However, the nightmare started when I tried to make my first withdrawal on October 4 after submitting my personal details (name, birth date, address, etc.). Suddenly, I was no longer able to place any bets—no matter the market, the maximum allowable bet amount was 0. I contacted customer support, only to be told that MELBET has the right to arbitrarily decide whether to allow betting or not, and now, I was completely blocked from placing any further bets! At that point, I decided to just withdraw my money and leave, but MELBET began making every possible excuse to delay and obstruct the withdrawal process.
First, they asked for a photo of my ID card, which I provided.
A few days later, they insisted on a photo of me holding my ID, with the background being the email MELBET had sent. Despite the difficulty of taking such a picture, I complied.
Then, after more waiting, they demanded a utility bill proving my address (and it couldn’t be a scanned copy). Even though most of these bills are now handled electronically in my region, I managed to find an address proof and sent it to them.
But wait, there’s more—another few days passed, and now they were asking for my driver’s license. Luckily, I have one, so I sent that too, though at this point, I have no idea how much longer they will continue these absurd demands or what impossible document they’ll ask for next.
In short, MELBET will throw every possible obstacle at you to delay your withdrawal, far beyond what is needed for KYC or user verification. I suspect many users eventually give up due to the overwhelming hassle of providing these endless documents, leaving their money behind.
Has anyone here had success filing a complaint with Curacao eGaming, where MELBET’s license is supposedly issued? Or are there any other effective ways to resolve this?

Forget your money, it's gone. They will, if you are lucky, let you withdraw your deposits. The money is now in Russia.

Hello Melbet, where are you? There is a man trying to scam you. Its definitely fine to ask him to provide full statement of earnings from last 10 years (notary copy of course) and a letter from his parents and grandparents as well allowing him to place bets online (doesnt matter that grandparents died in 1987, if not provided means he's a SCAMMER trying to cheat legitimate bookie). God dammit loads of people out there lately trying to rip off a bookie, thanks god you got tools to defend yourself.

exactly. that's what i thought too, as the interface and odds are completely the same. but somehow they are registered under different license authority so i took a shot that they might be managed differently. but i was proven wrong....Miguel wrote: ↑Mon Oct 14, 2024 12:05 amAfter reading this post I suspect melbet is a brother of 1xbet, why? @Melbet,
I suggest you don't go to an endless exchange of posts with the OP. Finish the case as soon as possible. It is not on your best interests to have 2 out of 10 recent posts in our forum combined with the word Scam.
You ve done it in the past, I know you can do it again.

After I emailed MELBET's complaints department, I received a response saying they’ve contacted the security team, but unfortunately, they cannot expedite the process, even though they confirmed my account is being reviewed.
This raises the question: do you actually have any influence over the security team, or are you just here to make it seem like the issue is being addressed?
Today, I received yet another ridiculous request from the security team—this time asking me to take a selfie holding a piece of paper with a password ("KJ7lK") and today's date on it.
I complied, but it’s becoming quite obvious that these are just stalling tactics to avoid processing withdrawals. I really hope this can be resolved soon, as the delays are getting unreasonable.

This whole situation feels surreal to me!
In a forum filled with smart bettors, it's surprising to see a user actually getting justice against a soft bookmaker, possibly through arbitrage or value betting (with an impressive ROI). The fact that a soft bookmaker even has an account here and engages with the community is astonishing. It goes against everything we know about their typical behavior.
What am I missing?
