Mollybet Exchange on Sportmarket PRO

Tue Apr 05, 2022 10:59 am

Hello Arbusers community!

We are happy to announce that Sportmarket PRO will feature a Mollybet Exchange as another betting option on the betslips! Implementation of this will allow all Sportmarket PRO users to bet against each other within the platform itself effectively getting (and offering) the best odds in the World!

All Sportmarket PRO customers would be able to post offers which will then be shown to all other Sportmarket PRO customers so they can pick them up. You will be able to Back and Lay your bets and get the highest possible ROI on your trading activities.

During the initial stages of the Exchange, customers will be able to trade only on 1X2 and Under/Over markets on the top European leagues. Mollybet will be working to include more markets and leagues as soon as possible.

Commission charged will be 2% on all winning bets.

If you don't have an account, head over to Sportmarket, make your account, take advantage of the amazing First Deposit bonus and start trading today!

If you would have any questions, please feel free to either post them here or contact our Support team!

Congrats on that nice project,
Does that Exchange provide a possibility to match huge volumes as seen on Betfair Exchange? White label or not? Do you offer Cricket (IPL 2022 is in progress nowadays), Horses, and other high-volume sports? Any kinds of limits to the players on the platform? Minimum wagers? Minimum amount to open an account? Possibility to offer own offers?
Thanks.

Thank you for nice words arb12!

To answer your questions:

- There is possibility to trade huge volumes of course; the only "catch" is that there needs to be someone else on Sportmarket PRO who is ready to take up on your offer. That is the ONLY limit.

- Molly Exchange is an internal exchange created inside the Molly platform itself and is fueled by our customers - no additional liquidity is pumped into it.

- Currently, only Football is covered, but we hope to see more sports (and markets) being offered as soon as possible (once developers are confident everything is going smoothly, they will expand the offer for sure; PS - I don't think that Horse Racing is in the pipeline for anytime soon).

- There are no limits, you can place bet as low as €2.

- Given that Exchange is integrated in the betslip and is part of Sportmarket PRO, minimum requirements is that any customer deposits €100 and create Sportmarket PRO account.

- Every customer will have the ability to post their own offers on the markets that are enabled for the Molly Exchange (currently 1X2 market and Under/Over totals).

Thank you,
And is there a possibility for the player to use additional instruments, i.e. advanced graphics, statistics, and some kinds of useful tools such as predefined by the player triggers or some programmable tools of any kind?

There are SOME instruments (like market depth with some stats), would need a full page to elaborate on everything - so it might be the best if you would request a DEMO account from our Support and look for yourself.

As for making your own bot (not a single known bot like Geekstoy and similar) are not supported nor there are any plans to do so. Creating your own bot is permitted once you obtain the API access for Sportmarket PRO. Whatever customer custom builds and uses is permitted (as long as there are is no "ill-use" of the platform itself.

Congrats - this is very interesting.
Will you match users against liquidity from other Molly white labels, or will the matching inside each label be separate?

Also, I forgot to ask: will 2% be charged from takers as well? Or only if I provide liquidity there?

@ex-hft

Thanks, we are also excited about this!
We have no confirmation if the liquidity will be shared and commission will be charged for each winning bet placed on Molly Exchange.

What does 'placed' mean? Are you charging 2% on makers, takers, or both?
Do you have any info as to when this kicks into drive and what the commission is?

Hello Mirage,

"Placed" means when bet is matched against the counterparty on Sportmarket PRO.
Commission (2%) is charged only for the winning bets placed on Molly Exchange and this is already live on Sportmarket.

Better to ask your Molly supplier and return here the answer, please.
Some of the assumptions:
- Three data categories: Best, Median, and Total, are they settled to refresh the data after every XXX seconds interval? If yes, is it possible milliseconds earlier anyone took the best "lay" price but the new data weren't refreshed yet? I'm wondering why the best "lay" price isn't colored in the background area, unlike the best "back" price on the trading screen.
- Internal bots somewhere in the Molly ecosystem take the best, many years ago there were strong rumors about the Betfair Exchange's internal bots, taking the very best prices, and all the rest prices were aired to the exchange customers - "The winner takes it all".
- That price, mentioned by you, was aired from an agency on the Molly platform, but somehow outside of the portfolio of the agencies, that you've access to via your broker.
- You've spotted that case in the Exchange mode. By the way, when you switch into the Classic mode, when it comes to the equivalent of the "lay" price, is that case still the same? If no, maybe that's a glitch or a bug, report it to the developers to fix it.

Thank you for your opinion. I contacted sportmarket, but apparently they only offer the molly product and don't know about it. At least that's how it looks after email communication. Finally, they offered to find out the answers to my questions directly in Molly. I don't have the patience for it, I tried things directly with bets and it seems that the payouts are correct according to the displayed odds

@ Boro,
Another possible assumption: It's probably some kind of rounding off the agencies' proposed combination of the max amount and offered odds. For example, these screenshots regarding the UEFA Conference League match Slavia vs PAO were taken recently on the early pre-match Asian Handicap market, in both views: Classic / Exchange. See what the case was when the EU odds were chosen, and later when the American odds were selected.
