All VIP members are entitled to open a second mb account with different currency.

Can anyone here answer me this question about this:

Is it cheaper for me (smaller fee) to send 500 EUR from my EUR account to my USD account and then make a payment to 5dimes in USD, or is it better to send 500 eur directly from my EUR account to 5dimes which uses USD?

It's easy to decide. If you pay from SkrillEUR, you will have to withdraw to the SkrillEUR later and you'll pay FXcomission again.

It's probably because MB sell user details to Russian spammers and other unscrupulous people!

I know that MB is sharing info with a number of institutions, but how do you know this about Russian spammers?

Re: Moneybookers Phishing Email - WARNING

Tue May 08, 2012 1:09 pm

There is a new phising email around.

We would like to inform you that your account has been temporarily locked for incoming and outgoing transactions because you failed to accept the new Skrill (Moneybookers) Account Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy until the 1st of May, 2012.

If you wish to unlock your account, please follow the link below and confirm your personal information. Failing to do so until the 15th of May, 2012 will be considered a denial of our terms and conditions and your account will be permanently closed.

Accept changes
Best wishes,

Skrill (Moneybookers)

When you click to "accept changes" it leads on a landing page which looks like skrill, but is a fake login page. When you insert your login details (I did that with totally fake details) it sends you in an another page where you have to insert again personal details and credit card details. Stay away!!!

I like the idea of entering fictitious credentials in order to get these f*ckers to waste their time a little.

But, by actually visiting the website, you risk the possibility of it installing some unwanted software on your machine.
Safest thing to do is delete any Skrill email. You should only visit the Skrill website directly (ie not via any link)
by typing out the URL in the address field. If it does have some genuine business you need to address then
it should present it on logging on to the site.

One trick I use is never to conduct any web business using the administrator account on my laptop.
Create a special user with as little privileges as possible. That way if a site tries to install something
surreptitiously you should get a dialogue box asking you to enter your administrative credentials.

This should act as a red flag that the site may be malicious.

On their website:

"From May 21st until the Euro 2012 Final July 1st, you can earn 5 times as many loyalty points on your transactions, from the moment you take part. Points you can redeem into cash (equal to 1% cashback) or special VIP EuroClub rewards. No limits, no thresholds, and no upload conditions."

Although I've not had any emails about it.. ::)
