Use an arb service but do manual search too. DON'T BE LAZY!
5- Football is most popular, over/under, 1x2 and asian hanicap. You can find some good arbs in tennis and basketball too. Not often but you can find some good arbs in baseball and hockey too. Be careful about mixed rules in tennis and starting pitcher action rule in baseball.
6- I didn't understand this question, what you mean by bookies radar? You mean you may be get limtied quickly if you're using an e-wallet?
7- Moneybookers is restricted in my country, so i'm using Neteller.
10- Here you go!
* Always check max limits for both sides. Even Pinnacle limit can be very low in some events..
* Before placing a bet, check your bookie balance(s). Do you have enough funds at Pinnacle to cover other side?
* Always pick non-pinnacle side first!
* Double check your bets and keep an excel. Be organized!
* Be alarmed before holidays/weekends since banks will be closed. (No WU, No Swift)
* Always check bookie rules for specific sports such as tennis and baseball.
* Ignore any arbitrage opportunity if 5 minues (or less) let before the start of the event.
* Check bookie maintenance hours, specially Pinnacle and Betfair, lol.
* If you spot a very high arbitrage (such as %30 or %40), don't bet it. Your bets may be voided due to palp error. Don't bet on loose lines (such as Miami Heat +22 versus Indiana Pacers)
* Switch your avatar to Adam Smith or John Stuart Mill cause you will be a capitalist very soon
Happy arbing!
Re: New in Arbitrage
2- Having a good surebet alert service is "a must" but it doesn't mean you should not search for arbs manually. There may be some arbs (specially in local books) that cannot be detected by arbitrage software. Using an arbitrage software will help you to get odds early. Timing is very important since arbitrages you spot don't last long, there's too many sharks in the seaProletariArber wrote: Hello Guys,
I am new here and I would like to ask you some things related to sports arbitrage (of course)
First of all I would like to congratulate Arbusers for this really useful Forum full of knowledge around sports arbitrage. 15 days now I ve been reading every topic on the forum and even I havent started arbitrage yet I feel that I earned some valuable Xp points for the beginning. Congratulations also go to the forum members that actively contribute in this "Arbitrage Knowledge library".
Now that credits given its time to get to the point of my first topic:
1.Which 10 bookies do u recommend for the beginning of my arbitrage betting?
2.Will it be difficult to manually search for arbs? I mean, I want to give time in the beginning and experiment myself by trying picking arbs by myself. Is it too time costly that makes the Arbs services a Must Buy?
3.Which service do u recommend to a beginner?
4.Any free ebooks to share for arbitrage betting? PM me if its against the Arbusers policy to be shared in public.
5.Which sport is better to focus on in the beginning and which kind of arbs?
6.Is Moneybookers/Neteller a first spot in Bookies Radars, should I avoid it in the beginning?
7.MoneyBookers or NeTeller?
8.Which bookies from the one u recommend have the "Max Bet" showed to u and how u know which is the max bet in other bookies in order to place the sec leg? I m asking in case of placing legs between softbookies only
9.Which VPN u recommend and why?
10.It s not a sport for sharing top secrets but what about a few tips?
I know that some of the above questions have been partially or totally covered, I just wanted to have all my questions in one topic and why not to add a few later or added by others as well.
I would be really grateful if some of u reply to the above but even if u don t, feel free to "welcome me aboard" even with a "Hi"
I am really sorry for my bad english and thank u for your time reading my post.
Cheers

And there's not enough time to cover your wrong bets before the games starts....
Newbies should not bet close to the start of the game, but experienced people can do as there are lots of opportunities.

Never ever bet in hurry. Line may go off. Anything can happen. Even if it's a %10 arb, I prefer to miss it if 5 minutes left before start of event.

Multiple accounts
I find many Arbs with Pinnacle and Interwetten.
On my Interwetten-Account I'm limited to €40 per bet (usually. Sometimes higher, sometimes lower).
I'm now thinking about opening a second account so that I would be able to double my stake for every arb.
Is this a good idea or do they close both accounts when they find out that I use the same IP for placing my bets?
thx

Re: New in Arbitrage
Oh, interwetten is gold..but yeah, limits are very low. They limited me to 20-30€ and I dumpted them.
About using 2nd account,
Why use same IP? Are you crazy?
* Use a different IP. Buy a mobile modem and use it for 2nd account if your current modem has a fixed (static) IP. If your modem has dynamic IP feature, then you will get a different IP each time you reset your modem.
* Use a different computer for 2nd account or clean all cookies, flash cookies etc. Make sure you leave no trace.
* Make sure documents are ready when asked. Bills, ID etc.
* Not necessary for Interwetten but may be useful for bookies calling you on phone for KYC. Buy a SIM card and a cheap mobile phone for new account. They may call you for KYC. (Maybe not Interwetten but there's some books doing it!)
* Btw, books can't track your MAC adress. It's just a myth, don't worry about it..

Re: New in Arbitrage
Yes, MAC address cannot be collected.
Places bookies can hide information: Cookies, flash cookies , HTML5 Web Storage/LocalStorage. I think that not all web browsers are yet clearing localstorage when you press the remove history button, be careful with those.
Web browser is sending information like web browser version, operating system and it shows also some information of plugins you are using like Alexa Toolbar etc. So do not use any special plugins if you want to be extra safe.
Example of an useragent:
Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 8.0; Windows NT 5.1; Trident/4.0; .NET CLR 1.1.4322; .NET CLR 2.0.50727; .NET CLR 3.0.4506.2152; .NET CLR 3.5.30729; McAfee; yie8)
Screen resolution can be collected too, so do not use any special screen resolutions no-one else is using

For BB users I have recommended Google Chrome since it was (maybe it is still, do not know) much faster than any other browser with JavaScript pages.Arbusers wrote: IE is the best IMHO, but I would like to see BB's opinion too.

So is the idea that you make your money first and then wait until you withdraw to reveal your identity? At this point they will realize you have a second account, but you are saying it doesn't matter?
Re: New in Arbitrage
Can you please clarify something? You go through all these precautions to make sure that they cannot identify you by your computer or IP, but then you say "Make sure documents are ready when asked. Bills, ID etc."Yngwie wrote: Oh, interwetten is gold..but yeah, limits are very low. They limited me to 20-30€ and I dumpted them.
