Newbie mistake with "supposed" surebet

Mon Jan 06, 2025 9:54 pm

I have been using SureBet recently and have just suffered my first full loss of stake trying to arbitrage.
Slightly frustrated because I wasted too much time the past few days checking and double-checking all odds and bets before committing the stakes (and having the odds change on me before I could place my bets), this time I unfortunately jumped the gun too quickly after the alert service showed me a juicy "sure bet".

AH1(-2.5) - corners
2(0:3) - corners
End result: 6-4

Unfortunately, I only double-checked my bet slip after confirming the bet ... apparently, the second bet was actually a (3:0) instead of the (0:3), like it was listed on Surebet.
However, because the odds matched on both the alert service and the bookies' site, I went for it without giving it a second thought.

Hahaahaha no worries man. Your next mistake will be an under evens goals in Ice Hockey.

The good thing of a mistake is that you will never do it again.

The bad thing of mistakes is that 99% of the times you will lose the mistake. Call it karma, or justice....but it's like this.

Good luck.

hahahaha, When i started. The first month i won around 1.4k, aproximately. The second month i lost almost 1k in one single mistake, but end the month over the first month.
Another mistake that you will make is close a bet with the same market. When you make this mistake you will lose both legs. It will be funny. You will see. ;D ;D

These nights without sleep are good to create the necessary mindset for this job.

Hahah, already seems recognisable indeed.

On a sidenote: I don't have the capacity to get addicted to gambling whatsoever.
However, I find the feeling of arbing really addictive.

Yes man. I never bet a "normal bet" in my life. And i didn't open a bookmaker or enter in a casino, before i read the word surebet in Google. So no worries if you see yourself betting thousands in a matter of minutes in some months.

Hello,

In our turn, let us apologize for the mistake - we are truly sorry to hear about the money loss.

Our service operates automatically, and occasional errors are possible. While we are constantly working to improve the accuracy of the data provided, we strongly advise, as outlined in our User Agreement, that all information from our site be manually verified before use.

Additionally, we advise against placing bets on surebets with a profit margin exceeding 6-8%. This is due to the higher likelihood of bookmakers canceling such bets (e.g., due to incorrect odds) or potential errors in our software. You can report any detected errors using the designated button with three dots near each surebet, and we will address them as quickly as possible.

It’s also important to mention that, on average, the impact of such errors tends to align with the bookmaker’s margin. This is because, in some cases, multiple outcomes of an incorrectly placed surebet may win, while in others, none might succeed—essentially mirroring the risks of regular betting.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

Best regards,
SureBet
