The problem is that betting companies dont care if the referee of a game or some players are wrongfully playing,  if punished or the result changes at some  time after the 90 minutes ...

They dont care for complains or legal stuff that could happen in half time , all proceed like nothing happened and college electors voted for biden .... so all is over for betting  i guess same like 4 years ago .

I wish i knew this , tho ;)  anyway no harm done because odds didnt go to 1.01 or less for biden , also i noticed that my bets were canceled by orbit before the end of the event, maybe to protect us for the closure .. if this was not some bug

The what-if case is simply BS. Of course, a meteorite would hit Earth but guys let's face it... Biden won. You might think otherwise in your personal universe but at some point, reality will wake you up.

First of all Biden didn't won.Source clearly says Biden had not enough votes.

Secondly it was about next president bet and not who gets most ellectoral votes which are not even
approved by congress on jan 6th.

Betfair made clear statements before that it will wait till at least 6th of jan.

Bitconnect is not forwarding my dispute as they claimed .They basicly just spoke (if really) via phone and send me the BS explanation that Biden won because of an article in CNN.

Even the college electors have on their website that biden still haven't won.

Unibet for example acknowledged that they will pay out should trump get the next president even they settled bets on bidden.

Btw it seems betfair have frozen presidential settled bets so people can't withdraw

Washington post article confirms that George will match signatures.
Pentagon canceling Bidens transition process

Now Betfair is sending out income requests to big winning accounts (trump) and today they started freezing them by claiming to have called them but couldn't reach and because of gambler protection they are now freezing their account and if no contact they will suspend.

Seems like they won't to get rid of as many as possible big winners on trump in any possible way

IF SOMEBODY WAS BETTING ON TRUMP ON ORBITX , please contact me to take the route for orbitx to claim our legal win as the way is diffrent than Betfairs

Please note other than Betfair you have on Orbitx only 7 days to open a dispute after they made your Trump bet lost.
After that you can't open any legal dispute anymore as you accepted their terms

Hi mate!
I was also betting on Trump on OrbitX.

Can you please post here on the forum what exactly people should do in order to get this bet resettled?

Because there is no way to contact you - your email address was removed from your post by admin, and private messages between forum members are not allowed here.

Personally, I was betting on Trump on OrbitX via BIA, bets placed on general and state markets,
and I would really like to hear from Arbusers himself about this situation, since he is very experienced and insightful.
Opinions of other experienced forum members would also be much appreciated.

Is it worth to open a dispute with OrbitX on the matter?
If these political markets will be resettled, is there a chance that people who opened the dispute would have an advantage?
I mean, it would be strange if those who opened the dispute get the bets resettled and others don't. (Has there been any precedents in the past?)
Any potential drawbacks for future betting activities with an agent or OrbitX in case of opening a dispute?

Guys, let it go.

Biden won.  Trump didn't.  Imagine having bet on Biden and having to wait for your bet to settle because there is a 0.000000001% probability some long shot lawsuit can reverse some small part of the result.

Imagine having bet on France to win the world cup in 2018 and some rich weird Croatian guy starting a lawsuit because of one reason or another..and that lawsuit has a 0.000000001% probability of winning but can take several years.  Would you be happy to have your bet pending all that time?

At some point, you have to face facts.  Being in denial is not the same as having a legit case.

@ A-bettor.

Before anything else, welcome to the forum. We hope you find what you are looking for.

I believe your question is not the correct one. I will follow the Socratic method to stimulate our critical thinking and to draw out ideas and underlying presuppositions.

Do you think it is Orbit or Betfair that graded the bet?
Do you think Orbit would act differently than Betfair?

Is the market called ''Next President of the US'' a bet on who will be the next POTUS?
Do you believe that the decisive event, the event that will decide who the next POTUS is, is the inauguration?

Unless there is an asterisk, any Terms, or anything else that changes reality so dramatically, you will have your answer on January the 20th.
But on a twist of plot, let's suppose that for any reason Biden is not in the inauguration. Whoever is there, will be the next POTUS.

Since late September I made a post about the people with a hierarchical position to be POTUS, if anything goes wrong in the US. Read: https://arbusers.com/viewtopic.php? ... 0#msg79060

In this case, Betfair should be called accountable. Even if Betfair is well protected by their army of lawyers being able to protect themselves from any Court decision under the auspices of any asterisk/terms/small letters, the damage to their reputation will cost far more than what they would be made from grading a bet against reality.

Common sense tells me that there was indeed a massive fraud involving the mail votes. Results changed overnight, destroying huge trump leads in a lot of key states.
One thing im sure, if Trump had won the election that way there would be a civil war atm, with the communist and blm antifa destroying and looting businesses and shops.
Luckily they have the 2nd ammendment right to have a 12 gauge or a automatic rifle to protect their businesses from any invaders.

Last day to file a dispute with OrbitX.

@A-Bettor

There are so many evidences collected in big telegram groups of scammed bettors that i doubt betfair can deny that fact.

There are many diffrent screenshots of people asking customer support if they will wait on any legal challenge and that the bet won't be closed on dec 14 which all have been confirmed by them that they will wait at least till 6th jan.
Once even posted a roadmap which goes till 20th jan.

There are posts from betfair twitter support answering on dec 14 that the bet won't be settled because of legal challanges.

You got offical statements from Betfair on marketwatch to wait till all legal challanges have been resolved.

A shady move from betfair was also to delete the title of bet on the last day from Next President to Presidential election 2020 only.

Also the fact you could bit on other candidates which had no possibility to  get electoral votes.

Their terms have been 3 times changed without notification and settlement.

IBAS gave to people a clear statement and a public roadmap how betting companies should proceed which says to wait at least till 20th jan.

There are so many evidences and also laws protecting customers against false advertising......

I first was a bit down because OrbitX is registered in Curacao which made me depressed but after reading they are under dutch law which is very strict

I dont see any scam here. Orbit is simply obeying to Betfair's orders, not to mention that Biden won the elections. Maybe you guys should learn to live with reality.

I recommend studying the US voting system.

Also Orbit executed Beifairs decission at the same time per their own terms i'm only allowed to open a dispute against OrbitX and not Betfrair.

They just say it for people not complaining .... anyway trump was a 30 to 1 bet , nowone is hurt by that  we all cash up most anyway.

Even in biden gets a stroke and someone else gets president i wont take the million i got on them ;) its over bet-wize
Trump prefers to stay for 8 more years in the scene - thats the goal-  ... couldnt stop the fraud cant change it now either , they did more from just fake votes, the bet is over
