I think it happens when they are going to take one Country specific license so there is a limbo period in which brokers are essential until Pinnacle start activities there.

Can you name a single country where Pinnacle got a license and it now operates legally in a regulated environment under the Pinnacle Sports trademark?
Even if there is such a country, people that got used to agents will not get back to Pinnacle, unless there is a very specific niche.

Italy.
www.pinnacle.it
It has been for several week they closed our (italian customers) pinnacle.com accounts and on the same day they started to operate with the new site.
So far it's a beta version, the layout is different, markets are not complete, we can't see max stake immediately (have to digit a big amount and click to see it), but odds are quite the same.
The site is logically worst than the original one so I'm still with brokers.
If they will improve it to the .com level I place my 100% bets on pinnacle.it.

Well, alealeale, I was speaking about Pinnacle Sports and you spoke about something similar to Pinnacle. In the end we agreed that once you start a broker account you will not return back to the original thing unless this thing becomes... original again.

Thank you hexaflexa. I never thought of Malta, maybe because it is out of my radar for now.

@campeones: the keyword is "taxes". It's not my case because I regularly lose on asian bookies so no withdrawals at all from brokers...but, for players who are able to earn from value betting on sharp bookies, it is a big deal to use pinnacle.it because winnings are already taxed so no worries and no fear of withdrawals from abroad.
It seems indeed that, like bet365 have done in the past, they have maintained the same odds of .com, a very honest behavior despite the high italian taxes that bookies have to pay.
This is the reason why for italian players is better to use pinnacle.it.

Pinnacle.it at the moment is simply useless. What you said is just theorically. Like this you can't use it, it's a completely different bookie than pinnacle.com. Also the skin of the bookmaker is different and remind me Betclic skin. Nothing to do with good old Pinnacle. So what Campeones said is 100% true.
