Re: Pinnacle
guys pinnacle isn't exactly your pal. They only get your bets because you are losing (since you are arbing) if by any funny change pinnacle is not the sharp side anymore they will close arbers in a heartbeat (it is not gonna happen but for the sake of argument)
Don't speak for something you have no clue.

Re: Pinnacle
Absolutely raizzak. I know this is asking FAR MORE than I would ever even try to ask in a soft bookmaker, would be a waste of time. But pinnie's business is partly based on their reputation, and that good reputation (apart from the obvious: odds, low commission, etc) brings them huge volume from people all over the world who know they don't play it stupid with their customers. So ruling out in favor of the customer does sometimes benefit them and that is why I believe there's a chance. Whatever they do, this doesn't change their reputation, I know. But imagine the greatness of a bookmaker who would assume their mistake and pay? (Notice that it wasn't a palp, not that I was aware of)
TBH and in their defense I must say that they cancelled the bet before the match started. I just happened to notice it after the match, which is my fault. I still believe however that the bet should stand or at least a VERY GOOD explanation provided, more than the "we do our best to protect our customers" or whatever other crap soft bookmakers copy and paste whenever you contact them. They have their reasons to cancel bets and that won't change, but they should be more specific on why they cancel an apparently normal bet.
Anyway guys, I won't bore you any more with this. Point made

Thanks man
Indeed, I agree, they certainly won't change their mind. I'm just struggling to get a proper explanation at least...

Re: Pinnacle
one time pin changed their mind, i had a winning bet on nba live, 15k winnings, they cancelled the bet after 4 minutes because of ''incorrect line'', i was lucky and could show them odds from other books, they game my winnings in the end

Re: Pinnacle
They do it sometimes as voodoo's example clearly shows but not if the bet was canceled before the start of the event. I hope you didn't lose much. With bigger stakes there's no other way but monitoring bets, be it softs or sharpsbarbero wrote: So ruling out in favor of the customer does sometimes benefit them and that is why I believe there's a chance. Re: Pinnacle
Hi. I have recently gave up betting with Pinnacle. My inplay bet was cancelled after the game was finished. Luckily, it was losser bet on Pinnacle. But in other case I would lost 15K Euro.
This was cold shower.
Before that bet, there were arbs when I was exposed for almost 100K

Wait... they cancelled the bet and refunded you before the match started and you want the bet to stand?
If the bet had lost, would you be begging them to take your refunded stake back because you're an arber? You can't have it both ways...
You had the opportunity to match this off elsewhere before the game, and you're asking Pinny to create a free middle for you.

What did you replace pin with? I guess I'm asking do you consider asians significantly more reliable?

If it was the other way round I think you would have ground to argue with them. Did they give you any reason for cancelling?atilla9 wrote: Hi. I have recently gave up betting with Pinnacle. I would give refund back to Pinnacle if they promise me not to cancel my bets (I do NOT bet on obvious mistakes such as wrong score or events not started or any other reason). Believe me, I wasn't happy with this refund at all, I was depressed.
"Dear Client,
Point 10.3 of our Terms and Conditions regarding errors in posting lines reads as follows:
We make every effort to ensure that we do not make errors in posting lines. However, if as a result of human error or system problems a bet is accepted at an odd that is materially different from those available in the general market at the time the bet was made or clearly incorrect given the chance of the event occurring at the time the bet was made, Pinnacle Sports reserves the right to cancel that wager.
If Pinnacle Sports decides to cancel a wager for this reason, all bets on the incorrect odd will be cancelled. We do not selectively cancel bets
We apologize for this inconvenience and appreciate your understanding."
Odd on Pinnacle was about 29, LAY on Betfair 26 and market was volatile. Odds went higher in a seconds (maybe 1 minute).
According to their explanation, I would not use argument that I am arber and just lost thousands euros as they stated ALL bets are cancelled.
The only thing which matters is their interpretation of errors in posting lines. For me, the odds were at normal level, for them not (maybe because they just were too much in red).
I would use SBO (which I consider reliable) but at the moment I am expoiting european soft bookies. I still use Pinnacle but only on TOP matches and with significantly reduced stake.

Re: Pinnacle
This seems to make sense. You have not posted a Pinnacle's answer here yet. What's their answer ? I also going to complain with my opposite bet at a other book, claiming my betting is not suspicious but obviously simple arbing.barbero wrote: They also would know that match fixers don't place a single bet like I did, they just pounce repeateadly since they know (99%?) they are gonna win. Finally, I could send them the losing bet in the soft side where they could see that the amount matches perfectly to that in pinnie, and that there's a positive return, so just a regular arb.

Re: Pinnacle
Their answer is plain and simple they do it to protect their customers, sometimes they need to void bets, and no additional info can be provided. A really big bunch of crap, I say.
