If the bet had lost, would you be begging them to take your refunded stake back because you're an arber? You can't have it both ways...

You had the opportunity to match this off elsewhere before the game, and you're asking Pinny to create a free middle for you.
They cancelled the bet after the game ended. It was INPLAY bet.
Sorry atilla9, I wasn't actually referring to your bet, yours seems more suspicious.

barbero, while you're generally handling this quite well, they voided the bet pre-match and it's quite a stretch to ask them to settle it as a winner. You're asking them to admit fault and pay regardless for the sake of their reputation, but identifying a potentially fixed match and protecting their genuine customers doesn't seem to me like a mistake on their part.

If indeed they are using this excuse to hide their own line mistakes, you may have an argument, but you said yourself this is a rare occurrence, and it doesn't feel like Pinny's style...

I agree, Gamblers Ruin. They are most probably playing it straight. In the moment of my first post I hadn't realized they had voided prematch, so I put in that piece of information later in another post. What pisses me off is that they do not provide some more information. I think we all agree that in order for a bookmaker or any agent to VOID a bet, it is up to THEM to justify why they do it. This is of course an ideal world, they just do whatever pleases them, no justification, and that's what I am against. It is not up to ME to know why that match was voided but up to THEM to provide a reasonable explanation for voiding it, and then, OK, be my guest and void the match :)

I am only asking them to PAY because they don't provide a decent explanation. Well pinnacle, explain it alright to me, so I can understand your reasons, and I won't ask for the money anymore. And I am sure they aren't playing silly games here. They are pinnacle for ffs. Easily the best one out there. But you know... we can never trust bookies 100% ;D, I believe we need to always, constantly fight for reasonable rights as customers. Thus I would certainly appreciate a little bit of extra transparency (which surely they have their reasons for not providing, but I am not at all OK with that) especially because if they happen to have strong reason to believe it was a fixed match, and I got proof of that, I could perhaps claim my money back on the other side (though VERY unlikely to get it back, I know).

But apart from all the previous, of course, you're right: they voided it prematch so not much more to do... and it's my fault for not noticing earlier ;)
