PIWI 247 slow interface

Fri Sep 20, 2024 10:24 am

Hello people, i'm facing a couple of issues with the Piwi247 interface, it's extremely slow and feels "sticky"... also, it keeps logging me out after very short time of inactivity, and then takes 1 minute to go through the log in and refresh the page again.
When it logs me out, the site doesnt even warn, so i think i'm still in and i understand i'm out only when the interface doesnt work.
I explored all the possible settings but i didnt find how to change the inactivity time before the automatic log out.

If someone found a way to solve (or at least reduce) these issues i'll be grateful, thanks.
if it's not possible to solve them, do you suggest to switch to another exchange with more reliable interface?

Mine is working perfectly fine. It only takes 3-5 seconds to load from log in to main page. It might be the browser that you are using (just a hunch)

thanks for the answer, i tried with different browsers but there's no difference.

i think it could be the Vpn slowing down the site, the agent says that the best Vpn locations to use for Piwi are Norway, Japan, Iceland, but they're all far from where i am and i think this is the problem.
i have no deep knowledge of Vpn, maybe i can change some settings or choose a closer location, obviously avoiding the Piwi restricted countries.

Suggestions are very welcome
(maybe i ask silly questions for the more expert guys, but we all need to start somewhere)

The automatic sign out issue is still a problem. They say this is happening for security reasons, so it is not going to change soon…

"Security reasons" ;D These bastards are funny. Me and some people I know experienced same stuff in Orbit but I guess they both act the same here.

Funniest thing is that they started logging me out after I managed to achieve decent profit in short period of time. I was trading LIVE so guess they figured out most of my profit comes from live and they didnt like it. What a surprised 95% of such situations they logged me out "for security reasons" was when trading LIVE not pre-ko. What a coincidence, yeah for sure.

As it was impossible to predict when they log you out and because to decide when to get out of my trades was a matter of seconds I got fucked few times trying to log in back (which took a minute - way to long to get out in time so I ended with red instead of profit).

So yeah "security reasons" both Orbit and Piwi can go elsewhere looking for people dumb enough to buy this crap.

Yes, most platforms have the settings where you can choose how long the inactivity should be before you get logged out.
if on some specific sites this setting is removed, there must be a reason... do you think it's to discourage in-play trading?

also, wtf, the "you have been logged out" window appears only when i see the interface doesnt work and i refresh the page, not in the moment i get logged out.
that's unacceptable, we're using real money here, it's not a videogame.

are there other exchanges with a more user friendly interface?
(i can't use betfair due to geo restrictions)

Depends what you mean? I guess you meant that time when I used to bet with Orbit? If you mean that - I cant remember it was ages ago, cant give you exact amount of bets. Guess from few a day to 20-30 max. Were days when I didnt place single bet too. Lets say 5-10 was the average

Betdaq is safe too, but the liquidity is lower.. not sure about Smarkets because I've heard they provide liquidity with their own money and that is never good for winners

Stay away from any trades involving Smarkets. Horror stories on the Internet, even here on that Forum. I think Jason Trost hates the winners.

I see, I think the VPN might be the one causing this issue. Majority of free trial VPN slows down even normal browsing on google. In my case, I have a premium subscription on Surfshark VPN - to which they don't limit the bandwidth / speed of my internet. You can test out different VPN and see if it becomes better. Hope it helps!
