Turnover/Profit
What do you think a smart bettor wins on average? My observation tells me it's between 3-8% on the turnover. For every 1000 units on average it's expected to profit between 30 and 80 units, no matter the strategy you use, including bonus "abuse" (where available). Everything over 10% is world class in my opinion. What are your observations?

Re: Turnover/Profit
On average about 4%
For me it improved significantly recently, about 10-12%

Re: Turnover/Profit
Anyone using a continuous signal will be in the 3-8% range. If you’re good enough to make 10%, you should add more lower-value bets, then the mix will be lower in roi but higher in profits.
If you don’t have a continuous signal but instead some specific opportunities (courtsiding, fixed matches, etc) - then maybe very high.

Re: Turnover/Profit
I think all this percentages, ROI-s are irrelevant. I have never used them at all, they are not my compass. It if someone achieve 3% ROi with 10% drawdown of the bank, another player 7% ROI with 50% drawdown? We all know that you should keep value, but guess most of us cover their bets (I do) . Also I hate moving funds constantly between accounts/banks/pockets/ etc. It is annoying for me, and sometimes I prefer to stay with 3000 EUR position instead of double it - which can lead up to potentially bigger profit/ROI but could cost me a whole day transferring/withdrawing funds the next day if I am on the losing side.. what about if I had 5 such positions and they went wrong - then we have to calculate the opportunity cost to stay idle for 3-5 days.
A friend of mine is in this position at the moment - all his bets were on the wrong side. He is waiting for his bank transfers to be completed/cleared, deposited again etc... it is not easy to move 50K EUR these days for short amount of time. SO there is no right/wrong answer, it depends.
SO there is no definitive answer to this riddle. But they are some clues.
1. Don't lose money.
2. Be good steward of your money - security comes before returns/profits. What is the point to have 200% ROI in a bookie which will not pay you the money at the end.
3. Personal preferences. I prefer good night sleep before everything else. If you told me that every night I would make 10% ROI for sure on my bets from NBA live betting (different time zone), I will decline the offer. Same goes with drawdowns - I am shaped from the experiences as a child/adulthood, so I am pretty strong on the safety side.
