I have a following problem. Few months ago I placed a large bet on the winner of US Presidential Election on Orbit Exchange provided by BetInAsia.

Now BetInAsia do no longer provide Orbit Exchange. So when I wanted to CashOut my bet because I do not see my candidate as a winner any more I couldnt do it.

I have asked BetInAsia for help ang got a reply that all bets will stand and possible winnings will be honoured.

But the whole point of betting on Exchanges is that you can Lay or CashOut your bets. In my case I only want to Cash Out my bet and transfer the money to new Exchange which BetInAsia are offering-Sharp Exchange. What is with the people who for example bet on the winner of Premier League at the beggining of the season. It means they are now stuck with their bet for very long time.

BetInAsia did not issue any warning that they will no longer be working with OrbitExchange. I am actually very satisfied with BeiInAsia service over the years but this does not make any sense at all. They should offer their customers the option of a CashOut. I do not want to make any bets but only will to make a CashOut even at a potential loss of money.

Cash out would for sure help you avoid paying the commission rate, which is pretty much very understandable.
As I always say, and forgive me for repeating my self, ''brokers come with an extra layer of risk. It is not the same as betting in a shop or a betting terminal down the corner. Brokers are offering valuable solutions and for these solutions, there is an extra layer of risk''.

In your case your risk is paying these commission fees. On the other hand, given these circumstances I am very happy this is not a credit event that would trigger other problems that no -one would be able to handle. Unfortunately, you got caught in the chink of this story.

Of course, I could contact BIA on your behalf, provided that your account is referred by arbusers, and maybe ask for a refund of the fees and lets see what they say. This is something I have never done before, and I can't anticipate BIA's reaction.

Just bet the other side (I'm assuming Trump) somewhere else, and it will effectively be a cashout if you hedge accurately.

From what I understand Orbit just ceased their partnership with BIA, so not much they can do
