has anyone confirmed the OS fingerprint in the VMs?

say, you reinstall the VM from the same ISO. will the fingerprint change?

Are you really asking if installing an OS from exactly the same source would somehow magically have changed after the 2nd time you do it?

how can a fingerprint be so unique then? we only have 3 main browsers and a handfull of addons. have you ever re/installed any new fonts? i have never in 20 years of computer experience.

you cannot indentify a user, among hundreds of millions, based on Firefox and a couple of addons alone.

and yet they do somehow, how?

also, windows update doens't change it ?

also hardware.... change ram amount, gpu ram amount, resolution. even cpu type, hardware acceleration support and such.... you can change all of these and keep the ISO and the fingerprint will be the same?

If you format your computer and install an OS, it has a fingerprint.  When you format your computer again and install this OS again, right after, it has the exact same fingerprint as the first time...I don't understand what the problem is with that.

This virtual box is a way to avoid buying new hardware or formatting your work pc every time.  Instead you use this, it does the exact same thing and your "new" computer will have the exact same properties as your old pc which you just formatted or as a new pc you buy.  Whatever you do to avoid detection after formatting or buying new hardware remains the same and is up to you.  I merely wanted to show a tool which saves a lot of time/money by not having to get new hardware or formatting a current pc.

Go here https://amiunique.org/ and click to View my browser fingerprint.
This are my result
Are you unique?
Yes! (You can be tracked!)
34.47 % of observed browsers are Chrome, as yours.

0.67 % of observed browsers are Chrome 49.0, as yours.

56.86 % of observed browsers run Windows, as yours.

5.63 % of observed browsers run Windows 10, as yours.

0.03 % of observed browsers have set "hr"as their primary language, as yours.

28.09 % of observed browsers have UTC+1 as their timezone, as yours.
However, your full fingerprint is unique among the 154857 collected so far. Want to know why?

So yes I'm unique with 154857 results they collect.
So I changed primary language to english but again I'm unique.

that site is weird ... and who knows what kind of algorithm bookies use.

also, it says it checks your installed plugins. so if i install a new plugin, fingerprint should change, no? and yet it doesn't, at least not on this site.

Some sites are just horrible, cookies or not. Bettson, Thegreek, 188 and Betstars all crash from time to time for me even when running on high to mid spec systems.
