Reason Why Arbitrage Trading is Addicting

Not only because of money. There's more to it..

Arbitrage Trading is addictive because it boosts your self confidence level and gives you a better mood since you enjoy an unbeatable %100 Win Rate, assuming you closed the trade correctly.

You're winning everytime. You're winning every bet you place since you cover every outcome. That's a very sweet feeling! Of course, assuming you didn't made any mistakes during trade. We're human after all! Humans are prone to mistakes. We all make mistakes even most experienced ones. Mistakes and Red Screens are inevitable. Still, you get a very sexy winning percentage even with these unpleasant mistakes..

What else can be better then winning everytime? Well, Winning everytime DOUBLE! Yeah, I'm talking about those Middle Bets! I love them. Somedays, my wife asks me, "Let me guess, You nailed a Middle today?" She can make this observation by just looking to my mood. Yeah, I feel like a Energizer Bunny when I hit a middle!

Losing is a very unpleasant feeling. What I like about arbing is, it makes me forget how losing feels like, lol. Few weeks ago, I was talking with a punter friend of mine.

- I lost my 10/10 Stake Bet yesterday..
- Sorry, I didn't understand?
- I said I lost my best bet!
- Sorry but I didn't understand again..losing?

Then he got it and we started to laugh. "Losing" word does not exist in our dictionary.

Do you remember times when you were gambling? Do you remember how it feels to bust your bankroll? Do you remember how you feel after disastrous losing streaks? Do you remember how you feel when you lost your bet with a last minute goal (90+3) or buzzer beater 3-pointer?

Losing is a very unpleasent feeling. Unfortunately, you must know how to face losing and take it like a part of winning in order to succeed in sports betting, It's something very hard, very challenging though. It requires a ZEN level in my opinion! It's not something that average joe can do. Still, everybody is betting and hoping to get rich. Sports Betting is a very tough business. It's not for everyone. I believe only %0.1 or %0.01 is winning over long haul. I can't understand people betting for fun, entertainment and adrenaline. Why you don't make bungee jumping if you're looking for adrenaline? If you're betting, then you must have only one motivation; money.

Image

Winning everytime is a sweet feeling. It gives you a better mood. By looking his walk, I can tell you is a person is a winner or a loser. You can be sure even your walk changes depending on your mood. While winning boosts your self confidence, you feel yourself like a god walking on earth, Losing ruins your self confidence, you feel bad, you feel frusrtared. Since we win everytime, we are much more optimistic and joyful then other bettors..

Arbitrage Trading is not always pink of course. There's some negatives as well. Will I get paid? What if bookie suspends my account accusing me for suspicious betting activities?! What if bookie voids my bet? It has been 3 days and still not get paid, what's going on? The list goes on. Arbitrage is not a risk free business. Maybe these danger and risks make it even more addicting..and maybe exciting?

Can you tell me how you're feeling when you spot a sexy arb like %4-%5? Can you feel the endorphine? It feels like cocaine!
And just like cocaine, arbitrage is addicting..

There's 2 more subjects I like to mention, but let's discuss them next time. I wish everyone a profitable June! You miss major leagues maybe but Roland Garros is going on at the moment and World Cup will kick off next week! Got some International Friendly games these days also.

Oh by the way, I picked Brazil to win outright 3/1 and Brazil to qualify for semi finals. Got Djokovic to win outright French Open also. Feeling confident about these bets.
Excuse me, did you say something? What if los-? Sorry, I didn't understand what you mean.. :D

I discovered arbing because I am a gambler, maybe there are many arbers like me, the thing is the urge to gamble never
goes away, it will always be there until I die and sometimes impossible to turn down "easy money", the results in "la liga" and even
the premiership at the end of the season prove there is no such thing as easy money, massive discipline is needed, I think
the percentage of "winning" gamblers is probably higher than you think, I am in profit at gambling but always argue with myself
that I should not be doing this, to concentrate on arbing, for instance the odds on betfair at start of french open on betting both
Nadal and Djockovic was 1.32, was that not free money? to bet spain, brazil, germany and argentina to win world cup was 1.56,
again seems like a good bet but it's gambling, as a winning gambler I still say it's better to arb and not to gamble, yes making
profit does make you feel good, it becomes a drug and we arbers are addicts, as someone who had a painful loss when R Madrid could not beat Valencia (2-2. 4 weeks ago) I can say that losing is always very painful no matter how much you have
won in the past, the pain of losing is one to be avoided.

I like arbing, i find it a bit fun, but i can't say i feel that way. I like mostly the numbers part as i'm not a sports guy. In fact, i never made a single bet on sports before i started arbing so the gambling concept is alien to me. If i would find a better business i would leave arbing behind with no problem.

I am massively into sports and also a bit of a "numbers freak" arbing was made for me ;D

Betting and gambling are different things.

For example, betting Nadal to win French Open and betting Argentina to win World Cup is gambling.
Betting Djokovic to win French Open is betting, lol :D

the problem with a arber who also likes to gamble is the temptation to sell your bet, if Brazil make the semis
or final then nice profit to be made, djockovic two sets to one up against Nadal in the final, do you lay him off?
or gamble, an arbers instinct is to take the guaranteed profit, a gamblers instinct is to let the bet run to conclusion,
this is an issue which gamblers who arb have to confront all the time. and by the way I agree with your selections,
this is Djockovic's year in Paris and can't see anyone stopping Brazil, they have qualtiy right through their team
(except for the goalie!!!)

And except Neymar, lol :D

Actually, I'm not a big fan of Brazil forward lineup, specially Justin Neymar Bieber. However, their team chemistry is good. The only potential danger is Germany who can't beat Cameroon imo. There isn't any european team in history who won a World Cup in south america. Brazil is likely to win championship but Djokovic bet has a better chance.

Please don't get me wrong , you are one of  my most respected arbers but don't say such things that can mislead people especially newbies!
Don't tell me that a bookie never void your bet , or even didn't pay you at all !
Don't tell me that you never place an under and the next second a goal scored , don't tell me that you never pressed the wrong button (especially after many hours of hard work) , don't tell me that a bookie never withholded your money cause you wasn't able to fulfill their peculiar KYC requirements , .... don't tell me ...... and the cataloque never finishes!
Well , maybe i am not inside that 0.1% but even the experts can lose , so IT'S NOT  "WINNING EVERYTIME"

Well, I hope newbies read the sentence full :D
I mentioned dangers and mistakes of course. These are part of the game.

Neymar will be the star of the 2014 world cup, well in my opinion he will and Germany strong as they are have no strikers,
sure they will get goals from midfield but in the end again in my opinion you need a world class striker, a 36 year old Klose
who is the only striker in their squad will not be enough and will find them out.

Hedged Djokovic bet and locked profit. Novak was not lookin' good today specially at 3rd Set and beginning of 4th set.

Glad I hedged Djoker outright. Nadal crushed Djokovic 3-1.

Now, it's time to hedge the Brazil bet. Actually, i'm not a big fan of hedging outright bets but if you're not feeling confident about your outright bet, then it may be a good idea to hedge some. For example, In RG, momentum started to shift towards Nadal. After I see Djokovic struggling versus Gulbis in 3rd Set, I decided to hedge my bet. Same scenario applies for Brazil too, I'm not feeling confident about them anymore.

Brazil not lookin' good specially defence. Colombia is my dark horse in WC 2014, they can beat Brazil. If they can beat France/Germany in semis, they can win the cup. You can do it Colombia!

spoken like a true arber, not much profit in hedging your Brazil bet just now, there odds have not shortened that much,
why not be a gambler and let it run? ;D or even change your bet to Colombia ;D          Brazil will beat Colombia
