i think skrill had some problems with "possible hack" and they're forceing their customers to change their passwords.

if you cant reset with clicking restore password button (you would need correct cell phone number to verify by sms) just call them they will ask you an email with request for id document. you reply to that email with attached document and thats it

my friend told me that skrill has slightly changed requirements docs for verification:

now they only ask for 1 id document to verify the account

could you please confirm that this is true and same applies here?

This is correct, but according to our manager, Skrill maintains the right to ask for a proof of address doc at some point.

Since Skrill now make themselves more expensive than using a debit card and bank wires, AND they removed any incentive scheme, its best to use banks now.

Less fees, and with banks (UK ones at least) your funds are protected against company going bust, and fraud etc.

Skrill got too greedy for my liking so they lose my business last month.

where are you gonna go ? sure people are migrating to neteller but it's the same company, is it surely a long term solution?

That's the problem at the moment. Neteller/Skrill hold all the aces but it's only a matter of time before somebody sees a gap in the market to create an e-wallet that is far better value for the customer than the current greed driven monopoly.
