Sports Illustrated, the American sports magazine that has been published since 1954, will expand once again to the betting industry.

After the failed launch of SI Sportsbook in 2021, the magazine is looking to launch a prediction market platform to compete with giants Polymarket, Predictit, Kalshi, and lately Robinhood.

The new platform will be aired during H2 of 2025, and will be named SI Predict. It will be developed in partnership with Galactic, a media prediction technology company.

This will be the latest entry in prediction markets, in a booming US gambling environment, and we expect other companies to compete for a piece of a rapidly growing pie.
