Tennis retirements

Tue Apr 19, 2011 3:01 pm

Had TWO real bad events today due to retirements :(

I do rather carefully mix up bookies (not 1 point vs. 100% or if on 3 won sets also not 1set vs. 100%)

BUT today:
Gimeno-Traver (Gamebookers, 100%)  vs. Starace  (Thegreek, 2 sets) 4:6, 6:1, 2:0 - Starace retires --> bet lost from Thegreek  -400€

second:
Kucova  (Betcris 100%)  vs. Chakvetadze  (Thegreek 2 sets):  1:6,  7:5,  4:4 - Chakvetadze retires --> again bet lost from Thegrek -720€

So at the bottom-line -1.120€

Thank you Tennis!!! >:( >:( >:(

I do assume some tennis-matches are not really clean as Tennis is by far the easiest sports for manipulating - out of whatever reason:
1. Player just wants to pick up his entry fee paid by the organizer, then instantly moving further forward to the next (possibly more important) tournament
2. player gets hurt - that's OK
3. manipulated bets

MUCHBET, you are an experienced bettor.
Always take tennis arbs when rules are the same between bookmakers.

I think in the future I definately will only use matching bookies, not even giving 1 vs. 2 sets or 2sets vs. 100% a try :(

The same with azarenka yesterday !
I take a full match , i dont see that the match while begin very soon.
And i dont find another "full match" , i have only find betfair !
And naturly, she will finished the first set !! grrr
result -127 € its not 1120€ like you MUCHBET, but its "important" for me.

Conclusion : mix rules its bad !( when you lose )

One attempt to that bad story could be:

Mixing bookies only if the lower-odds bookies has the "longer" ruie - means i.e. placing 100% bookie on 1,4odds towards 1point bookie @3,3

Result: in case of retirement you could have small loss, but big win (if YOUR player retires) :)

my friends, its very very easy:
you only write in an excel and subdivide the rules of bookmakers like this (this is a very little example)
Group1 (Ball Served) Group2 (1 Set Completed) Group3 (2 Sets Completed) Group4 (Match Completed)
betathome                       betfair-pinni                              thegreek                12bet-sbobet

i start arbing 1 year and half and this list i built before start my carrier. if you want bet on tennis you need it

Clever guy!

I in general also do know which bookie offers what rule - I just had real bad luck as I urgently needed to roll over at Thegreek so I took the risk (and got heavily punished for it) :(
