Bet365.es (spanish website) adopted geolocation on their website to prevent people from placing bets from abroad
You can´t open any ticket with them (it closes itself automatically)
The problem is that I heard that even guys living in Spain are having this issue despite using local internet and real location
I wonder why the hell they did this? Losing a lot of money in this country?
.com version works fine as before.

As far as I remember, a Spanish court judged that BET365 is not allowed to limit the local players' accounts the same way as the players from other countries, or something. Is there any Spaniard forum member here to confirm or clarify that info?

Re: bet365.es geolocation
Lately, the same has been happening in other countries too. Any solutions?

Use a phone with a foreign SIM card to place your bets rather than trying to mess around with VPN's. The VPN will work for a while and then you'll burn an account or three. Is it really worth it, just to save $20?

Re: bet365.es geolocation
No matter if one uses SIM, VPN, legit wifi or whatever. The issue remains the same. Some legit players also suffer from this, even if their geolocation matches. Problem is known to CS lately, but they have no solutions. There is something tricky and buggy about this.

Using the Spanish court system to move money from Hillside Sports limited to your bank account is an entire cottage industry, but the fundamentals of it stay the same:
Re: bet365.es geolocation
It's not a bug, it's by design. Spain has the unlimited accounts thing, so they will be much harder on any suspicious-looking configurations.geetz wrote: ↑Mon Jun 13, 2022 7:52 amNo matter if one uses SIM, VPN, legit wifi or whatever. - Use Google Chrome, always (don't use Firefox or Chromium)
- Do natural behavior, don't use TAB to navigate etc
- Use clean IPs with correct geoIP, 4g is great
- Use incognito mode, this should be obvious
- Deny geolocation requests or spoof with xposed etc
- Use proper system locale etc

Re: bet365.es geolocation
Golden post. The first suggestion has helped tremendously, even though it was obvious ( I used Brave expecting it to be spotted as Chrome). All problems were solved after switching. Massive thanks and kudos to you, buddy.

For anyone looking to force their way to bet on the ES site, be careful about your payment options. There might be other blocks during the withdrawal phases...
Re: bet365.es geolocation
This is a problem with IP geo location in general. It is never 100% accurate. The IP databases are updated daily and people living close to geo borders are more likely to suffer those incidents.

TAB navigation by itself probably isn't something to worry about, but if you use automated scripts to move the cursor around, it could get you minor issues. (Probably nothing to worry about, I don't think they'd burn an account over it)
Re: bet365.es geolocation
Firefox is much rarer, so it will have harsher protection.
